The Democrats' biggest crisis

Since minutes after the networks announced that President Trump had clinched the votes to become President-Elect Trump, Democrats have tried figuring out who they are. One wing of the Democrat Party insists that the people expect them to fight President Trump every step of the way. If Trump says there isn't a cloud in the sky, Democrats feel obligated to say that it's cloudy with a 60% chance of thunderstorms. If Trump says that Washington, DC has a crime problem, some Democrat politicians insist that crime is dropping, then following up by declaring that Trump is an authoritarian.

There's just one problem with that idiotic Democrat strategy. Her name is Muriel Bowser and she's the mayor of Washington, DC, which is our nation's capitol. She's actually thanked President Trump for sending additional troops to DC. She didn't say the Trump plan was flawless. She simply said the additional troops helped MPD make DC a safer city. This news report is accurate in describing what's happened:

What's hurting Democrats is the fact that they've got a credibility crisis, a delusional crisis and, worst of sll, they've got a truth crisis. Let's tackle the Democrats' truth crisis first. If they don't get that right, the other crises are insignificant. These Democrats insist that we've got a transphobe crisis. Robert/Robin Westman said that "he was tired of being trans, and that he had wished he had never brainwashed himself." This isn't from the mouth of a MAGA supporter. That's from someone who wrote on his gun to kill Trump. Democrats won't let go of this delusional position. It's an article of faith to Democrats. Meanwhile, the majority of people look at these Democrats and think that they've totally lost it. If Democrats don't fix their transphobe/truth problem, they won't have a shot at flipping the House. Period.

Credibility Crisis

Democrats have a credibility crisis because they don't listen to people. They just listen to organizations that fund their campaigns. In the DNC's thinking, those organizations can do no wrong. The average Joe or Jane dis=esn't appreciate being ignored or talked down to.

Finally, Democrats have gotten used to telling voters whoppers and getting away with it. By now, that's ancient hiatory. These days, voters are apt to say 'a pox on both their houses', then walk away. Lots of people have walked away from the Democrat Party. That's why their approval rating is the pits and their fundraising stinks to high Heaven.
