Let the DFL circular firing squad intensify
After the rally, Rep. Emmer said "This is the least shocking news: There were almost no American flags at a @OmarFatehMN rally. Palestinian stickers were the main focus instead. That’s what you get when Democrats back a candidate who puts America last, hands out benefits to illegals, and pushes to defund the police."
The quiet part about Fateh rallies is that they represent 'the hater wing of the DFL':
Popular conservative social media account "End Wokeness" posted several excerpts from the rally, which included chanting in a foreign language and a crowd holding signs supporting Fateh. "Omar Fateh rally in Minneapolis last night. 0 English. 0 American flags," End Wokeness commented. This 'news segment' offers a quick glimpse of the Fateh rally: This isn't America at its finest. This is typical third world stuff. We welcome people to the United States with one provision: they need to assimilate into this nation. We left Europe, Asia and, to a lesser extent, Africa, because we wanted something better, something exceptional. Africa, Asia and Europe didn't deliver those things. We The People of the United States built those things.Another conservative influencer, Eric Daugherty, also chimed in, saying, "This was the rally for Omar Fateh last night, candidate for Mayor of Minneapolis. Third world music, third world language, third world attire."
"Minneapolis is doomed," added Daugherty.
We've been an exceptional nation because we rejected socialism's road to serfdom. Mamdani and Fateh are just giving us the latest sales pitch of the road to serfdom. To Mssrs. Mamdani sand Fateh, I have a simple message: No thanks. We prefer the Wealth of Nations. We became exceptional by following simple principles of innovation, uncompromising public safety and exceptional education. Notice I didn't mention public education. I want public schools to succeed. I want private schools and parochial schools to succeed, too. Let the competition begin.
I don't care which system is best at the end of the competition. I want the competition that positively changes students' lives. The public school monopoly is a system that produces complacency. Complacency doesn't build innovation. It builds inertia. Competition creates a system of innovation. That's why competition and socialism don't fit together.
The DFL used to thrive on competition and liberty. Today, it suffers because their system is built on insults and accusations. Fresh ideas are rare in today's DFL. Let the infighting intensify.
