Tim Walz's path to contrition is littered with false flags

The NY Post is reporting that Tim Walz, Minnesota's far-left Democrat governor, is now imploring Minnesotans to "lead with grace and compassion" just a month after Gov. Walz called ICE agents "Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo."

Gov. Walz also said "Now is the time for us to recommit to the core values of this country … talk to a neighbor rather than arguing. Debate an issue. Shake hands. Find common ground."

Gov. Walz isn't in touch with people. I don't recall the last time that I argued with a neighbor. It's definitely 20+ years. That isn't because I'm the personification of virtue. It's because arguing with neighbors seemss like a foreign thing. More than anything else, it's because I'm a live-and-let-live kind of person. Tim Walz isn't a live-and-let-live kind of person. During COVID, he established a snitch line so neighbors could call in neighbors' violations of Gov. Walz's arbitrary rules.

I'm told that Gov. Walz says he needs to do better. If he said that, I agree. He needs to do better.

“It’s not about hatred. It’s not about mean tweets. It’s not about demeaning someone. It’s leading with grace and compassion and vision and compromise and decency,” the governor added.

It was a complete 180 from the remarks Walz made exactly two weeks before while giving the keynote speech at the South Carolina Democratic Party Convention, in which he called on members to strengthen their resistance measures against Trump, whom he called a "wannabe dictator."

"Maybe it’s time for us to be a little meaner," the failed vice presidential candidate said to audience applause on May 31. “Maybe it’s time for us to be a little more fierce because we have to ferociously push back on this. When it’s a bully like Donald Trump, you bully the s–t out of him."

Gov. Walz's credibility crisis

Gov. Walz's credibility crisis stems for his identity crisis. Apparently, Gov. Walz won't hesitate in being mean one minute, statesmanlike the next. Why can't he be the same person all the time? In Rep. Emmer's cross-examination, Gov. Walz was caught fabricating his answers:

At a minimum, he was deceptive. Now he's lecturing us about being honest citizens. I have a simple message for him: Spare me the sanctimony. It isn't welcome here.
