Is the DFL circular firing squad forming?

Based on this article, it's looking more and more like the DFL is forming its tr4aditional circular firing squad. According to the article "The bipartisan budget compromise is on the verge of exploding as progressive Democrats say they won't support at least the provision kicking adult undocumented immigrants off MN Care. They rallied alongside clergy from several faiths Friday and heard stories from immigrant families who have lost loved ones because they lacked healthcare."

This isn't putting the DFL in a position of strength. Quite the opposite, actually. The more the DFL progressives whine, the stronger the GOP's hand gets. I spoke to a longtime reader of my blogs who bolsteredthat belief. This reader told me on background that Erin Murphy, the Senate Majority Leader, was in tears. Another longtime reader of my blogs verified that Sen. Murphy might need more than 17 votes to pass the HHS bill. Further, I was told that the HHS Omnibus bill might turn into 2 bills, one which would deal with children, the other that would deal with adults.

That would make Sen. Murphy's job more difficult. Gov. Walz insisted in this video that this was President Trump's fault:

Had Gov. Walz and the DFL not spent every cent of the projected $18,000,000,000 surplus, we'd be sitting pretty. That's why I don't buy Gov. Walz's and the DFL's spin. In this report on Fox9, Melissa Hortman brags that they're 5 days ahead of 2019 because 4 women doing the negotiating:

Actually, 2 men were also negotiating -- Tim Walz and Mark Johnson. Let's be clear ablllut something. The DFL is in a fix because they spent too much money during the 2023 spending year. Now they'll have to pay a political and policy price for their excesses. That's got the activists/extremists upset. It's a good thing they believe in gun control.
