Who do they think they are, Democrat "tax increase edition

Stephen Moore's op-ed for HotAir begs the question of who do the Democrats think they are. Early in the article, Moore wrotes "What is it about politicians in Washington that they just can't stand progress or th e thought of anyone getting rich?" He isn't asking about Republicans. They aren't about raising taxes. They're about cutting taxes.

I can't count all the times I've heard a Democrat talk about too many people making too much money. Right now, Bernie Sanders and AOC are on their Fighting Oligarchy Tour, meaning that they're preaching income inequality and that Trump Americans are greedy bastards. That's what Tim Walz accused Elon Musk of being. Simply put, who do these Democrats think they are? This is proof that Democrats are anti-liberty. If Democrats loved liberty, they'd want everybody to prosper. Period.

Here's a report on the Oligarchy Tour:

Democrats think that Bernie and AOC are their ticket back into power. Democrats are wrong, though I want them to keep thinking this way. These socialists are a terrible fit for the U.S. The U.S. is a center-right nation, though it sometimes swings center-left.

The key word in both descriptions is center. Bernie said that his ideas were considered outside the mainstream when he started. Now he contends that his ideas are mainstream. They're mainstream within the Democrat Party but they aren't mainstream anywhere else.

It's time for Democrats to stop bossing people. That's what they did in pushing Obamacare down our throats.
