Tim Walz's dishonest State of the State Address
Wednesday night, Minnesota's DFL Gov. Tim Walz delivered a speech that was long on national ambition and dishonesty and extremely short on solutions that will improve Minnesotans' lives. Bring Me the News quotes Walz as saying "This isn’t servant leadership. It’s not any kind of leadership at all. It’s small. It’s weak. It’s petty. It takes the awesome power of the federal government and turns it into a crude weapon, wielded by a man who wants to be a king. And as Governor, I’m going to continue to do in my power to protect Minnesotans from getting hurt, and provide them shelter from the storm. But it’s not enough to complain about the damage this administration is causing. And it’s not even enough to try to clean up as much of the mess as we ctan."
Now that the DFL Trifecta has been demolished, it's time for Gov. Walz to drop the national ambition stuff and concentrate on doing his job. Thus far, Walz hasn't done a good job in his current job. Check this tweet out:
Walz has pretended that he's in Musk's league in terms of intellect/gravitas. That's a joke. Musk is the smartest man in the world. Gov. Walz is well short of that. Elon didn't let that deter him. Here's his reply: At one point, Walz said that the looming deficit wasn't anyone's fault. Walz said that despite the fact that he signed each of the spending bills that created the looming deficit.Tonight, with the state of our state as strong as it’s ever been, we gather to write the next chapter in our great Minnesota story. pic.twitter.com/TsARooZSLW
