Reviewing the Bipartisan Border Bill

During last year's campaign, Kamala Harris tried attacking President Trump on immigration by criticizing Trump for scuttling the Bipartisan Border Bill. She went as far as saying that it proved that Trumpp didn't care about border security. Saying that Harris's accusation didn't stand the test of time is understatement. When the February CBP report ran a catch-and that only 8,000+ people tried crossing the border illegally, a record that was less than some days during the Biden administration.

Byron York's daily column highlights the fact that the steady flow of illegal aliens has almost stopped. He wrote "With all that has happened since January, one issue that has received less and less atshiptention is the flow of illegal crossers over the U.S.-Mexico border. That’s because there no longer is a flow of illegal crossers over the U.S.-Mexico border. President Donald Trump stopped it in a matter of weeks. What had been a national crisis under President Joe Biden, with 10 million to 15 million immigrants entering illegally while U.S. authorities did almost nothing, was fixed quickly by the new president. Democrats, of course, were on the wrong side of the issue, so they don’t talk much about Trump’s achievement."

TRANSLATION: Trump solved the problem by simply enforcing existing immigration laws. Biden ordered Border Patrol to help register illegal aliens before they got shipped somewhere into America's heartland. Biden ran a catch-and-ship operation when it came to illegal aliens. Biden even gave illegal aliens government benefits:

The difference between Biden's administration and Trump's administration couldn't be more different. With Biden's administration, illegal aliens streamed across the border with ease. With Trump's administration, illegal aliens don't cross the border.

This is proof that the Bipartisan Border Bill was a scam. This wasn't taken seriously by serious people. It was just used by Democrats as a shield because they knew their open borders policy was a major political liability. The American people figured that out by Election Day 2024 and rendered their verdict with a loud voice. As for the Bipartisan Border Bill, the verdict is simple: Good riddance!!!
