Kash Patel's confirmation hearing turns into the Democrats' disgrace

Kash Patel's confirmation hearing turned into a disgrace for Senate Democrats, most of whom excessively focused on January 6, 2021 or on whether Patel could say that Joe Biden had won the 2020 presidential election. Vermont Democrat Peter Welch got upset when Patel said that Biden had been certified as U.S. president instead of saying that Biden had won the election.

What any of this has to do with whether Patel is qualified to be the next FBI Director is unknown. At one point, Lindsey Graham said that the hearing would eventually talk about Patel's qualifications to be FBI director. Predictably, the next Democrat questioner went back to asking more gotcha questions.

CNN is reporting that "Despite Patel saying he didn’t want to look backwards, Republican lawmakers encouraged him to do just that. They brought up gripes about the 2016 Trump-Russia probe, the Hunter Biden investigation and other actions they believe were motivated by anti-Trump bias." It isn't that Republicans think that the Democrats hoaxes "were motivated by anti-Trump bias." It's that they proved that they were. The Hunter Biden laptop from Hell has been verified as legitimate by Biden's Doj, Biden's FBI and Biden's CIA. They've proven that the 51 spies who lied document was put together by Antony Blinken. It isn't legend. It's verified fact. Dick Durbin grilled Patel over things Patel had nothing to do with:

President Trump pardoned these J6 prisoners. Patel had nothing to do with that. Democrats didn't bring forward any information suggesting that Patel had anything to do with those pardons. This is a gotcha game of guilt-by-association by Democrats.

The Democrats know that Trump's nominees are qualified. Their only hope is to smear these nominees. That's been their tactic from the start. Now it's apparent that that's failing.
