Donald Trump's initial week, what a success edition

It's been a busy first week for President Trump. It's time to list the Trump administration's victories in the historical record. This Newsweek article offers us a solid base to start from. Newsweek reported that "Trump has signed dozens of executive orders during his first few days in the Oval Office. The orders have focused on a range of issues that he promised to tackle during his campaign, including clamping down on illegal immigration, pardoning January 6 Capitol attack participants and 'Silk Road' creator Ross Ulbricht, withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord, withdrawing from the World Health Organization, eliminating federal diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and changing federal government policies toward transgender people."

Further, Newsweek reports that "Within hours of being inaugurated on Monday, Trump moved to invalidate dozens of Biden's executive orders with his own order for the 'rescission of harmful executive orders and actions.'" That's a fair point. President Trump campaigned on being a change agent. Exit polls showed that significant majorities preferred the change agent candidate.

That's only part of the story of President Trump's first week back in office. Bill Melugin embedded with ICE Boston. Check this out:

That says it all. The Haitian thug praised Biden and Obama before cursing President Trump. Before inspecting the L.A. fire damage, President Trump visited Asheville, NC. Saying that FEMA failed the people of western North Carolina is understatement:

In addition to that, 3 of President Trump's cabinet picks got confirmed and sworn in. Sworn in were Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense and Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Secretary.

The U.S.-Mexico border looks different, too:

Other than those major changes, you can't tell that a transition has happened.
