Joe Biden's failures put pressure on Democrats

Joe Biden's mountain of failures, starting with his failed Afghanistan withdrawal, then continuing with his 'minor incursions' press conference and his open borders policy have Democrats reeling. That's just the start of Democrats' problems. Joe's painful cognitive decline and Joe's pardon of Hunter (and his imminent pardoning of his partners in crime, aka Jim and Frank Biden) must have Democrats wondering if they'll ever win.

Prior to Donald Trump's thumping of Kamala Harris, people talked about the Democrats' machine. They aren't talking about that machine much anymore. The Bernie Sanders/AOC wing of the Democrat Party is accusing the DLC wing of the Democrat Party of forgetting about kitchen table issues. The DLC wing of the Democrat Party is accusing the Bernie/AOC wing of being too crazy for most Americans.

The Democrats' Identity Crisis

The Democrats' crisis is that both wings are right -- and wrong. Right now, the Democrat Party is like a rudderless ship. Thanks to the Democrats' insistence on relying on identity politics, Democrats don't have an identity. Isn't that ironic?

This election cycle, Democrats lost President Obama as an influencer. The fact is President Obama just isn't that influential anymore. His scolding of young black men was a turning point moment. Check this out:

Democrats are in a difficult position. They've relied on Hollywood celebrities, President Obama's power of persuasion and buying off enough other voters to win elections. That coalition isn't a winner anymore. Now they're faced with a crisis. How do they buildd a new winning coalition? It must start with better policies. This is still a center-right nation. This isn't Bernie's socialist utopia. He wants it to be but that isn't who we are. Period.

Future Democrat Leaders
Of the people who were on VP Harris's shortlist, none of them is presidential timbre. Discard Gov. Hair Gel, aka Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, J.B. Pritzker and Jared Polis, too. That's just the start of the Democrats' problems.

What's next?
The first thing Democrats need to do is start listening. Let the people tell you what's important rather than having Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi tell the people what's important. This is why Trump is now President-Elect Trump:

If Democrats don't rebuild right, they'll be in the political wilderness 10+ years. The American people want the real thing, not the Democrats' gimmicks. This isn't a game. It's about getting things right the first time and every time. That doesn't happen without building on a firm foundation.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid/Schumer is history. President Trump put together a great economy while shutting the border. He built things right. It's still questionable whether Democrats are willing to put in the work and build things right.
