The Democrats' twisted thinking

After Joe Biden's summit with President Putin, Democrats said that adults were back in charge of the White House. At the time, I took that to mean something positive, at least in the Democrats' eyes. Now, I'm not that certain. I'm not certain because Peggy Flanagan suggested that parents should submit to their children.

Specifically, Lt. Gov. Flanagan said "When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That's what it means to be a good parent." If that's what she's thinking, I'd hope that she isn't a mother.

The Bible teaches that "Without a vision, the people perish." While children have fanciful fantasies, I don't think they qualify as a forward-looking vision. How do children put together a forward-looking vision if their mind isn't fully developed? Put differently, why should children be given the opportunity to make permanent changes to their bodies without parental consent?

If we're told that "the adults" are back in charge of the White House as a positive thing, shouldn't children be given the benefit of the adults' wisdom? If we let children tell us what they'll do without first seeking an adult's vision, aren't we cheating the children? At the start of this video, Lt. Gov. Flanagan said "When children tell us who they are, it is our job as parents to listen and believe them. That's what it means to be a good parent."

This picture says it all:
Minnesota parents need a bill of rights to protect them from tyrants like Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan. That's why I'm honored to stand with Cassie Fredregill, Jeff Johnson, John Palmer and Phyllis VanBuren in drafting a Minnesota Parental Bill of Rights. It's time to tell Gov. Walz, Lt. Gov. Flanagan and Education Minnesota that we're the ones who'll decide whether children will get indoctrinated.
