It’s no secret that Minnesota has a shortage of primary care physicians. Image your wait time for a provider in Minnesota doubling if Keith Ellison is successful in suspending former Minnesota gubernatorial candidate Dr. Scott Jensen’s license. Imagine the "chilling effect" that will occur on the entire medical community and other groups if the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice along with Attorney General Keith Ellison are successful in this highly publicized witch hunt against Jensen. Who else will be next? As Dr. Jensen said, "if they can do it to me, they will do it to you." Will your doctor end up retiring early or flee Minnesota to a more tolerant, welcoming, and inclusive political environment?

Apparently, Dr. Scott Jensen’s gubernatorial loss isn’t good enough for the far left. They want nothing less than to see Dr. Jensen’s license to practice medicine suspended. It’s noteworthy that the first four allegations were investigated and dismissed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Now that the 2022 governor’s race is over, Dr. Jensen is being investigated for a resurrected fifth time but this time with the direct involvement of Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison in Minnesota Board of Medical Practice matters. More allegations are being added against Dr. Jensen to make this a sixth complaint. Ellison is demanding Dr. Jensen show up for a conference in which the Board of Medical Practice will be represented by the AG office.

This time, the Minnesota Attorney General’s office is now involving itself into jurisdictional matters handled by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. On their website, you will find this:

The Minnesota Medical Practice Act is an administrative law which gives the Board of Medical Practice the authority to correct, limit, suspend, or revoke a physician’s privilege to practice medicine in Minnesota if the physician does not meet Minnesota’s minimum standards for medical practice. The Board’s responsibility is to protect you, the patient.

Nowhere on the board’s website does it include a physician’s perceived unfavorable political opinions in meeting "minimum standards for medical practice." As stated, the board’s responsibility is to protect patients, not protect offended non-patients with a political axe to grind. The board’s website also shows that: Most complaints about physicians fall into these categories:

  1. Competency matters of all kinds
  2. Impairment or chemical abuse
  3. Sexual misconduct
  4. Inappropriate prescribing

Mr. Ellison faces a stiff uphill fight because Dr. Jensen was once named Minnesota Family Doctor of the Year. What proof does Ellison have that shows Dr. Jensen is incompetent? Remember that prosecutors don't win just by making accusations. Prosecutors must prove things.

The other categories that the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice can rule on seem to be irrelevant. Even if they weren't irrelevant, Ellison would need to offer proof of wrongdoing. Again, that's an uphill fight. Dr. Jensen describes the witch hunt in detail during this interview on the Joe "Pags" Pagliarulo show:

It’s common knowledge that a seemingly countless number of businesses, retirees and working-class families are fleeing Minnesota for better opportunities. Oppressive environmental and business regulations and high taxes make Minnesota a less than ideal place to maintain a business let alone start a new business.

Minnesota may get into the business of exporting medical providers if Ellison gets his way in "weaponizing" the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice to revoke a physician’s license because political activists disagree with a doctor's medical diagnosis.

According to the board’s website, they can’t help with billing or collection problems. So exactly how can the board get involved in helping offended non-patients with unpopular political problems.

No patient likes waiting several months to see a doctor in Minnesota. Clearly, Dr. Scott Jensen has a longstanding impeccable record of providing highly effective health care that has spanned decades. Prior to his highly publicized stance against the effectiveness of COVID vaccines in which FDA approval was "fast-tracked" into the market, there has been no long-term research on the side effects of these vaccines. To voice concerns and ask questions is a free speech right.

If you look at Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s stationary it says, "helping people afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect." Any thinking person can figure out this statement is far removed from reality. If Keith Ellison gets his way, be prepared for an even longer wait to see your provider because your doctor may be out…permanently. If that's the case, then I suppose Minnesotans who ride charter buses to Canada for cheaper prescription drugs can roll the dice to see if they can see a Canadian doctor without excessive waiting.

Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services.
