Elon Musk's Twitter reinstatements

Elon Musk's restoration of Donald Trump's Twitter account is getting tons of attention this weekend. I wish the media cared about Twitter's previous activities that weren't as high in profile. The first question I'd ask Twitter's previous regime is why Twitter banned the Babylon Bee. The next question I'd ask is why Twitter banned Kayleigh McEnany.

I know the reasons why Twitter banned them, at least their public statements on these bannings. I'd just like the opportunity to ask them questions and get Twitter's former regime on the record. In the Babylon Bee's banning, Twitter's former regime explained "Twitter locked the account of a right-leaning parody site, The Babylon Bee, after it awarded Rachel Levine, the transgender Biden administration official, the title of 'man of the year.'" The Babylon Bee was given the opportunity to be restored if they repented and deleted that tweet.

Babylon Bee's CEO Seth Dillon said "he has no intention of doing so. We’re not deleting anything,' Dillon tweeted from his personal account. 'Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it.'"

That's what courage looks like. This is why McEnany's account was suspended:

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday was locked out of her personal Twitter account for sharing The Post’s bombshell cover story on Hunter Biden’s alleged hard drive and an email linking Joe Biden to his son’s job at a Ukrainian energy company.

"Your account has been locked," a message from the social media network informed McEnany, whose account has more than 1 million followers.

Thankfully, Kayleigh's account was unlocked awhile ago. Thankfully, Twitter's former regime permanently banned the Babylon Bee. That, in turn, triggered Elon to start looking into buying Twitter. I guess each dark cloud has a silver lining, huh? Thanks to Twitter's old regime, this is what we've been missing:

Anti-free speech Marxists can't win battles on merit. They've spent too much time cancelling opposing voices, causing their debating skills to atrophy terribly. The Democrats' best argument is 'Racist'. After that, lying is their next-best argument. Let's remember Obama's strawman arguments:

Thank the Washington Free Beacon for that montage. Typical of Obama's strawman arguments is when he said "there are those who say..." Who said that? It's never mentioned, like a Washington Post article citing "people close to the negotiations" or other anonymous-sourced BS.

Thank God for Elon Musk. He's restoring sanity to an insane hellscape known as Twitter.
