Joe Biden accepts environmental activists' marching orders

Joe Biden apparently doesn't care that a gallon of gas has nearly doubled since this time last year. This article says he's thinking about shutting down another pipeline. According to the article, the "Biden administration is reportedly weighing the potential market consequences of shutting down an oil pipeline in Michigan." The reporter then writes " Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Biden's energy secretary, predicted Sunday that heating prices will rise this winter regardless of the Biden administration's decision on the pipeline. 'Yeah, this is going to happen. It will be more expensive this year than last year,' Granholm told CNN."

When Republicans regain their majorities in the House and Senate next year, setting the US on a path for energy independence should be a high priority. If that requires a government shutdown, that's fine. Forcing so-called moderates to vote yea or nay is a fantastic way of forcing them to prove their status as moderates or radicals.

Republicans should welcome the opportunity to push for cheaper gas prices and lower home-heating bills. Being the champion of middle class famiilies' budgets isn't a negative.

I don't care about energy diversification. I want cheaper gas prices and cheaper home heating bills. We had that as a nation during the Trump administration.

During the Obama years, Obama started a war against fossil fuels. Trump stopped that war against the middle class the day he took office. Unfortunately, that war against fossil fuels and the middle class restarted the minute Joe Biden was inaugurated.

When voters go to the polls next November, they should send the message that they prefer cheap, plentiful energy, both at the gas pump and with home heating bills.

Republicans need to stand up for middle class families. Period. If a Republican doesn't stand up for energy independence, enforcing the Tex-Mex border and letting energy exploration on US federal lands, they should be primaried. Full stop.

I'm all for Republicans being a big tent party as long as it's a principled big tent. A big tent party that doesn't stand with parents fighting school boards, city councils and the federal government is worthless. Further, it's important to do what you promised you'd do. Acting like the Chamber of Commerce on immigration shouldn't be tolerated by conservatives. If you want Republican support, you must enthusiastically support all pipelines, building the wall and enforcing our laws.

Finally, the thought that the Biden administration is thinking about shutting down a pipeline is insulting. Biden isn't a uniter. He's a puppet who does whatever the special interests tell him to do. Shutting down pipelines that are working properly is the personification of stupidity. Joe Biden is a stubborn, stupid person who never should've been elected president. He isn't up to the job. When the next Republican president takes over in 2025, it'll take that president 2+ years to fix what Biden has broken.

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services.
