Tim Walz's ghoulish treatment of children

The more you seee Tim Walz in action, the creepier he gets. He isn't creepy like Joe Biden but he's got his own type of creepiness. For instance, Gov. Walz held an anti-gun rally at the Capitol, complete with unknowing children as props:
First, notice that these children are wearing custom-printed t-shirts that say "Students Demand Action." Remember that there's another DFL anti-gun front group called "Moms Demand Action." They showed up at DFL press availabilities whenever there was a gun violence incident that needed hyping. Typically, it happened whenever the DFL wanted to ban assault weapons.

Just as sure as death and taxes, these children were part of a production calling for an assault weapons ban:

(The Center Square) – Six months since the Annunciation Catholic School shooting, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has proposed a sweeping "ban" on different firearms and firearm accessories. The package includes more than a dozen new restrictions.

"Too many times, we have seen gun violence inflict immense heartbreak and loss in Minnesota," Walz said recently. "It’s time for us to come together to take real, actionable steps toward common sense gun laws."

Banning assault weapons isn't an example of taking "steps toward common sense gun laws." It's taking a step towards an unconstitutional gun law. Is Gov. Walz that dishonest or is he that stupid? Or is he both?

I wrote this article months ago so I could quote from Justice Antonin Scalia's majority opinion in the landmark case of DC v. Heller gun rights law. He wrote:

"Under any of the standards of scrutiny the Court has applied to enumerated constitutional rights, this prohibition—in the place where the importance of the lawful defense of self, family, and property is most acute—would fail constitutional muster."
I then wrote:
In short, assault weapons bans are illegal because, whether the DFL likes it or not, AR-15s are used to protect families. The DFL knows this but they're relying on the DC v. Heller ruling to stir up their base. Further, the DFL knows that any ban that passes would be struck down in a New York split-second in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
It's cruel to hint to children that all that's required to ban weapons is a little student activism. Further, it's cruel to teach students to ignore Supreme Court rulings that they don't like. Check this out:

This is typical DFL foolishness. It's time for the House GOP to campaign on the fact that they want to protect students while the DFL wants to specialize in meaningless messaging bills. Finally, I'd advise the GOP to highlight the fact that the DFL is using students as political props.
