Tim Walz isn't serious about special session

Anyone that thinks that Gov. Tim Walz is interested in finding solutions to Minnesota's violence problem is a blithering idiot. If Tim Walz is serious, he would've brought GOP and DFL legislators together to talk about the things that contribute to the evil that swept through Minneapolis last week. I'm not interested in fixing just the shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church, though that's definitely part of the discussion.

During his interview with Harris Faulkner, which I wrote about here, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer said that "Murderapolis is back." That isn't a compliment to Minneapolis or the DFL. Emmer then said "You had 6 people killed last week -- I mean this week -- and you've got 44 killed this year.

It's essential to remember that Minneapolis is the place where the Democrats' Defund-the-Police movement started. Minneapolis is where the 'Summer-of-Love-Riots' started, too. Minneapolis, aka Murderapolis, is a thoroughly screwed up city without any relief in sight. Let's return to the 'Walz doesn't respect Republicans' storyline. Walter Hhudson expressed the GOP's thoughts pretty well in this tweet:

The key part of Walter's tweet:
"Bringing in legislators from all over the state, taking them away from their jobs and families, with no concrete achievable plan for what to do in that session, is precisely the sort of disrespect I've come to expect from Tim Walz."
In this news report from Fox9 News, Murderapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said that "the numbers of murders are unacceptable":

Minneapolis isn't just about murders. It's about carjackings, too. It's about an understaffed, dispirited police force, too.
