Is the DFL the party of election cheating?

Last night, a friend sent me a statement from Rep. Krista Knudsen. Rep. Knudsen is a Republican who represents Lake Shore. in northern Minnesota. Rep. Knudsen issued a statement that highlights how dishonest the DFL allegedly is.

The first part of Rep. Knudsen's statement starts with "I want to thank the Hubbard County Auditor for their work to catch this individual and for their vigilance in protecting the integrity of our election," Knudsen said. "This is yet another reason we need voter ID and for Secretary of State Steve Simon to join Republicans in making election law changes that will put a stop to the numerous problems we've seen throughout this election cycle."

Republicans should make election integrity their priority, along with income tax reform and getting spending under control. The spending orgy from 2023 has returned to bite us with a projected budget deficit. Further 'investments' are too expensive. Besides that, DFL 'investments' have stunk in terms of ROI, aka Return on Investment. Here's the rest of Rep. Knudsen's statement:

Ballot printing issues, results reporting malfunctions and errors, slow counting of ballots, missing ballots, and illegal voting all undermine confidence in the security of our elections. The status quo is not working, and we need to take action next session to address these problems.
It's time to fix Minnesota's election system. In fact, it's time we fix it immediately. House GOP Leader Lisa Demuth posted this tweet on Saturday: Check out WCCO's shoddy reporting in this video:

Fake But Accurate 2.0?

In 2004, Dan Rather tried implying that then-President George W. Bush had gone AWOL during his time in the Texas Air National Guard. When multiple mistakes in the documents were discovered, Rather tried telling his dwindling audience that yes, the documents were fake but still accurate. The fake screen shot showing the state of the Sue Ek-Dan Wolgamott race doesn't say what date/time the screen was updated.

Further, it's worth noting that the fake screen shot says that Wolgamott was getting 50.4% of the vote while getting just 1,005 votes. Getting 1,005 votes compared with Sue Ek's 9,814 votes isn't 50.4% of the vote.

David Unze from Sherburne County issued the following statement:

Contrary to circulating rumors, no votes were "lost" and none were "found." All ballots cast in the general election were properly and legally received, documented, counted and chain of custody was maintained. Some ballot totals failed to upload to the Secretary of State's website on Election Night.
I have a simple solution to verify the veracity of Unze's statement. Tell We The People which precinct the votes that didn't upload properly came from. I know that they came from St. Cloud Ward 2. That's where I live. Of the votes that were 'introduced' after 100% of the precincts had reported, 415 votes were added to the final vote total. 305 votes of those 415 votes that were introduced went to Wolgamott. Further, there wasn't a single step that took it from Ek leading by 4 to Wolgamott leading by 191.

In fact, the Secretary of State's website went from Ek leading by 4 at 11:08 PM on Nov. 5 to trailing by 28 at 12:58 AM on Nov. 6. Further, the Wolgamott lead was still at 28 votes at 10:11 AM on Nov. 6. That's 9+ hours after the Ek lead. According to the KARE11 screen shot, the 191-vote lead was "last updated at: 5:38 PM on November 8, 2024." That's more than 2 days and 14 hours after the 28-vote lead for Wolgamott.

If Unze's statement that no ballots were found is accurate, why did it take Sherburne County 2+ days to do a simple upload of these 415 votes? These aren't rumors. They're simply questions that Sherburne County hasn't answered, questions that are important to finding the truth. I won't stop asking until I get them answered.

Finally, I want to know which precinct Wolgamott got 73.5% of the vote in. In the 3 precincts I found, the best that Wolgamott did was under 60% of the vote compared with approximately 40% for Ek. That's a far cry from 73.5%. If Wolgamott got 73.5% of the vote in any precinct within his house district, I haven't found it. Mr. Unze will have to prove it with his documentation. His statement alone isn't proof. PS- I won't accept statements as proof. I require hardcopy documentation.

Punishing election criminals:

If this person is convicted after getting a fair trial, this person should get a stiff sentence and fine. This isn't kidding around. It's messing with one of our most essential institutions. That can't be treated like business-as-usual.
