Karinne Jean-Pierre's inartful spin

Karinne Jean-Pierre's spin about Joe Biden's silence about the pro-Palestinian protesters needs work. At Wednesday's WH Press Briefing, Peter Doocy asked her "You mentioned what he said in 2017, after Charlottesville. He said about Trump’s response then, 'Charlottesville, for me, was a moment where I thought silence would be complicity.' How you explain his silence this week?" KJP replied "The President has not been silent on this issue when it comes to hate speech, antisemitism. He started ... Wait. He started — he launched the first-ever antisemitism — Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, something that no other president did. No other president..."

Big whoop. A Democrat president launches a new bureaucratic agency is noteworthy? Since when is that noteworthy? What has Biden said directly about antisemitic 'protesters' taking over Columbia's Hamilton Hall? If he thinks that having his political hack press secretary make a generalized statement about antisemitism will suffice, he's a bigger weasel than I thought. And I already thought that he was a weasel.

This is a meaningless CYA gesture similar in nature to him sending a comprehensive immigration reform bill to Congress at the start of his administration. Biden's immigration bill would've just codified Biden's open borders policies into law. Here's the famous back-and-forth on video:

Making generalized statements about antisemitism isn't the same as making statements about the pro-Hamas agitators taking over Hamilton Hall on Columbia's campus. Does Biden think that those terrorists committed a felony when they took 3 janitors in the building hostage? Shouldn't Biden's DOJ be deployed to investigate these agitators? That won't happen because tons of Democrat dark money 'foundations' are funding these agitators just like they fund Democrat candidates. They even use ActBlue, the Democrats' dark money campaign fundraising website.

Empty Words

"President Biden respects the right to free expression, but protests must be peaceful and lawful," White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates said in a statement on Tuesday. "Forcibly taking over buildings is not peaceful — it is wrong. And hate speech and hate symbols have no place in America."
Bates issuing a statement is meaningless. Until Biden himself makes a strong speech from the Oval Office and he starts taking action against these potential felons, Biden will be viewed as a windbag.
