America's newest patriot: Elon Musk

Though it's undoubtedly going to hurt his profits, Elon Musk is calling for an increase in domestic oil production:
Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk called on the United States to increase its domestic oil output in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, while also acknowledging that his electric car company would be negatively affected by that move.

"Hate to say it, but we need to increase oil & gas output immediately," Musk tweeted Friday. "Extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures."

Musk added, "Obviously, this would negatively affect Tesla, but sustainable energy solutions simply cannot react instantaneously to make up for Russian oil & gas exports."

That's what patriots do. They put nation before profits. Patriots help nations with sattelite internet service, too.

Joe Biden's administration isn't willing to shut down Putin's war funding, aka Russian oil. If the U.S. were to open the spigots on domestic oil production, the price of a barrel of oil would drop by at least half within a month-and-a-half. It would also help wean Europe off Russian oil and gas quickly.

Musk is a total contrast with Joe Biden. Biden isn't putting the U.S. first. He's got his limited script and he's sticking with it. Innocents are getting killed but Biden barely seems to have noticed. Instead of pushing his national security team to find out what's possible in terms of saving Ukrainian women and children, he's off to his home in Delaware. AGAIN! Meanwhile, Antony Blinken, Biden's Secretary of State, says there isn't a compelling reason for sanctioning Russian oil:

Biden should fire him just for making that stupid of a statement. Are Biden and Blinken too stupid to see that our purchases of Russian oil, combined with the sky-high price of oil, is funding Putin's genocide of Ukraine?

Unfortunately, Musk isn't on the ballot this November. Neither is Biden. Still, we can vote for patriots who put America First instead of ideologues who put the Green New Deal first.

Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending.
