The Democrats' stupidity on Iran

It isn't difficult to spot the Democrats' stupidity on Iran. In fact, it's virtually impossible to not spot. Mark Penn's op-ed, which he co-authored with Andrew Stein, highlights the Democrats' stupidity on Iran by highlighting the Democrats' partisanship. Further, Democrats apparently forgot that Iran's invasion of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran on Nov. 3, 1979 is considered an act of war. The U.S. Commander-in-Chief has the authority to retaliate against nations who've attacked the U.S.

Penn and Stein open their op-ed by saying "George Washington’s Farewell Address warned of "the baneful effects of the spirit of party.' Partisanship, the first president observed, 'serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration.' The reaction to President Trump’s strike against the regime in Iran, which has waged war on America for 47 years, is a case in point. Presented with a choice between party and country, most Democrats have chosen party."

It wasn't that long ago that Democrats put patriotism ahead of party. That Democrat Party doesn't exist anymore. The Democrat Party that exists now cares about checking off items from the Democrats' ideological checklist rather than doing what's right. When Speaker Pelosi shoved Obamacare down our throats, she didn't care about the people. She cared about the checklist. That's why Democrats lost a net of 63 seats in the 2010 U.S. House election:

Nancy Pelosi didn't care that Obamacare was terrible for the people. She cared that it was historic. The people be damned. Harry Reid wasn't as smart but he was just as ruthless. Unlike Pelosi, he's dead now. Good riddance. I hope he's enjoying the fruits of his labor. Bill Melugin nailed Hakeem Jeffries with this simple question:

What a lying sack of dirt. We're 6 days into this part of the war that Iran started. Libya lasted 7 months.
