Is Barack Obama the Gas-Lighter-in-Chief?

Barack Obama didn't accomplish much in his time in office. Despite quantitative easing from the Fed, economic growth was pathetic. Perhaps, the better way of putting it is to say 'because of quantitative easing, economic growth was pathetic.' These days, Democrats shut the government down to extend tax subsidies to rich insurance companies, to buy down insurance premiums on the ACA, Obama's "signature accomplishment." Worse, President Obama seems allergic to the truth.

For instance, Obama ran into that 'allergy' on the campaign trail yesterday. He said "Meanwhile, the government is shut down, and the Republicans who are currently in charge of Congress are not even pretending to solve the problem. They have not even been showing up to work. Not in session. Where are you? What are you doing?"

John Fetterman, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, told Jake Tapper "Democrats really need to own the shutdown. I mean, we’re shutting it down. I know why they claim they’re doing it—because they want to address the tax credits—and I fully support that. I voted for all of our cars—our causes—every single time. But I refuse to put 42 million Americans into that kind of food insecurity."

Sen. Fetterman told the truth. President Obama lied to Virginians. For years, Republicans have voted for clean CRs. Speaker Mike Johnson let President Obama have it in this press conference:

The point is, there is no evidence that Republican policies have made life better for you, the people of Virginia. They have devoted enormous energy to entrenching themselves in power, punishing their enemies, enriching their friends, and silencing their critics. They put on a big show. They never miss a chance to scapegoat minorities or DEI for every problem under the sun.
I'm guessing that the Gaslighter-in-Chief means that Republicans haven't done a thing for the American people other than cut their taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security. I'm guessing that the Gaslighter-in-Chief forgot that Republicans have stripped healthy single adults from Medicaid. Meanwhile, Democrats have shut government down while pretending to care about the little guy. It's just a facade, just like Obama's speech.

Proof that Tim Walz doesn't care about fraud or other crime

Anyone that thinks that Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, doesn't care about preventing crime or fraud hasn't read this article . Alpha News is reporting that "The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has confirmed that Dylan Adams, the fiscal policy analyst caught on video vandalizing Teslas in Minneapolis, is still employed by the state — meaning Minnesota taxpayers are footing the bill for his salary. In response to Alpha News inquiries, a DHS spokesperson said: "Dylan Adams is a current employee." Apparently, the Walz administration doesn't care that it's employing a vandal in its Department of Human Services. As for whether Adams "has faced consequences for racking up more than $21,000 in damage during work hours , the agency offered little transparency. Tim Walz doubling down on Gestapo speech

When Tim Walz, Minnesota's DFL governor, delivered the commencement address for the University of Minnesota Law school, he didn't deliver the typical commencement speech. He delivered a highly partisan speech instead. Gov. Walz compared "federal law enforcement agents implementing President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown to a Nazi-era political police force." He called ICE agents Gestapo. Let's compare the 2. The Gestapo's mission was to rid Germany of Jews. To the Gestapo, it didn't matter that these Jews were German citizens and had been decades. Thanks to the Aryan Clauses, Jews were considered subhuman and weren't really Germans. That's an awfully racist viewpoint. Is Gov. Walz accusing law enforcement officers of being racists? I.C.E.
