Tim Walz, Hope Walz; like father, like daughter edition

A tradition from the 1950s or thereabouts was called 'Like father, like son.' These days, Democrats have chased away guys so that cliche to its low to should be 'Like wimpy father, like domineering daughter.' Putting that differently, Hope Walz is a know-it-all privileged child. She needs to because she's educated and indoctrinated instead of being wise.

Hope Walz acts like a privileged white kid who thinks that all white people think that they're as privileged as she is. That isn't how this works.

When she opened her mouth, she sounded like the person she described in her diatribe. The article reports "In a profanity-laced TikTok video, Hope Walz, 24, mocked the president’s decision to bring in 800 National Guard troops and assert federal control over D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department. She called it 'Trump’s bitch baby wussy scaredy-cat behavior in D.C.'"

The article says that she's a 24-year-old. Based on what she told her TikTok audience, I'd guess that she sounded more like 12-year-old brat whose parents didn't do their jobs as parents.

Though she's got more name recognition than the average 24-year-old, that doesn't mean she's honest or scholarly. Check this out:

Walz told her followers the U.S. has "always been like one form or another of… locking up people that aren’t like rich and white and men,” and claimed D.C.’s crime rate is “at the lowest it’s been in 30 years."

She also recommended people get educated on the topic and suggested reading "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander and "Locking Up Our Own" by James Forman Jr. — books that examine systemic racism and mass incarceration.

Miss Walz isn't ready to be an activist. It's indisputable that she's got the willingness. She just isn't a great tactician or strategist. As for her claim that DC violent crime is down to its lowest rate in 30 years, I'll trust the FOP chief. I won't trust the wet-behind-the-ears activist:

If violent crime in DC isat a 30 year low, why did Greg Pemberton tell the nation that his officers worked 2,000,000+ hours of mandatory OT last year? If violent crime is at a 30-year low, why is a police force that's supposed to have 4,000 officers have 3,185 officers? That's a police force that's 20% short of where it's supposed to be.
