Introducing Councilman Jeff Johnson

It might seem like you know Jeff Johnson already. You do and you don't. You likely know the Jeff Johnson who was a Hennepin County Commissioner. Commissioner Jeff Johnson later ran for Minnesota Governor, first against Mark Dayton in 2014, then against Tim Walz in 2018. It's time to introduce you to St. Cloud City Councilman Jeff Johnson.

Councilman Jeff got national recognition for fighting for a moratorium on the Refugee Resettlement Program in 2017. In his effort to find out how much the program would cost, especially in terms of resources like education, health care and housing, Councilman Jeff earned the animosity of organizations like CAIR-MN. CAIR-MN called him a racist. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The St. Cloud Times took CAIR-MN's bait. They nicknamed Councilman Jeff an axegrinder for wanting to know what St. Cloud was getting into financially.

At a time when Tim Walz's administration is disinterested in programs like Feeding Our Future and Housing Stabilization Services, wouldn't it be nice to find someone who's interested in the details of his administration? It's time for an active executive to protect taxpayers from grifters, who are in it only for themselves.

Tim Walz is comfortable with defending the status quo. Minnesota needs a change agent, someone who questions things and challenges people. How can anyone look at the fraud, misplaced priorities and missed opportunities of the Walz administration and think that we're getting good results in education, health care and Medicaid?

This isn't just a complaint against the Walz administration. I don't have enough years left in my life to write about Walz's missed opportunities and mistakes. I want this blog's readers to get to know what Councilman Jeff is for, too. You'd be doing yourself a favor by reading Jeff's Minnesota First Compact. Jeff isn't just about identifying problems. He's about fixing other's mistakes, too. For instance:

Eliminate 1 BILLION Dollars of Taxpayer Fraud – Jeff is not here to just work on things he is here to fix things that are broken. As a licensed aircraft mechanic, this is how Jeff operates in life. Under Tim Walz and the DFL, Minnesota has become an embarrassment. Jeff will establish an office of inspector general by executive order as outlined here to crack down on fraud. It’s time to admit that we are not just in a period of financial instability - we are in a severe financial crisis. The DFL House refused to support an inspector general office with teeth in it because they didn’t really want to fight fraud. The DFL wanted to say they fought fraud. They didn’t want to actually fight fraud. Jeff will have no problem clearing out the executive branch of individuals who engage in fraud, are incompetent, and who do not serve Minnesotans with a caring heart and attitude.

It's impossible to take Walz or the DFL seriously on the issue of preventing fraud. Gov. Walz and the DFL did everything they could to fight for the status quo on fraud. Then there's this:

Eliminate Biological Males in Female Bathrooms, Locker Rooms, Prisons, and Sports - Tampon Tim thinks it's not only ok for tampons to be placed in boys' locker rooms, but he also thinks it's ok for biological males to be in bathrooms and locker rooms with girls. Willful violation of Title IX in Minnesota by allowing biological males to compete in female sports is unfair, discriminatory and dangerous. Be sure to watch the Payton McNab kill shot video where a trans student seriously injured a teenage girl during a volleyball game. In Loudoun County Virginia, a trans student wearing a skirt raped not one but two girls in two different schools. See the video of a very angry father arrested at a school board meeting after his daughter was raped in a school bathroom. Ask yourself: How many Minnesota moms and dads think it is ok to have biological males (yes, that's someone born with XY chromosomes) in bathrooms and locker rooms with their teenage daughters? What if this happened to Tim Walz’s daughter? What about biological males being transferred to a women's prison here in Minnesota? Female inmates are terrified, and it is a clear violation of the 8th Amendment prohibiting cruel and unusual punishment.

Please explain how that's fair to women. You can't because it isn't fair. It's just another example of Gov. Walz's warped One Minnesota. This is another thing that Jeff is passionate about:

Support Minnesota Citizens FIRST Before Illegals - Under Jeff's watch, there will never be a taxpayer funded healthcare program for illegals paid for by Minnesota taxpayers. It is unfair that homeless Minnesotans and many of our veterans do not have healthcare while illegals receive free healthcare. Jeff will support ICE in removing dangerous illegals from Minnesota.

Finally, Jeff recognizes that Minnesota state government needs a major housecleaning. Jeff knows that Gov. Walz isn't qualified to do that job. If he was qualified, he would've already started fixing our biggest problems. Instead of fixing things, Minnesotans hear about a new scandal each week. It's time for a change. Jeff Johnson is a man of action who will start fixing things the minute he gets sworn in. Jeff is battle-tested, too. In St. Cloud, Jeff found problems, then immediately started fixing those problems.
