Alan Dershowitz: Don't reward Hamas terrorism

Alan Dershowitz knows his way around the Middle East. He knows that Hamas won't negotiate in good faith with Israel. That's because Hamas is a ruthles, almost barbaric, tribe. That's right; they aren't a nation. Prof. Dershowitz has written this op-ed, which the Jerusalem Post has published. In his op-ed, Prof. Dershowitz quotes U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio as saying "Talks with Hamas fell apart on the day Macron made the unilateral decision that he’s going to recognize the Palestinian state...So those messages, while largely symbolic in their minds, actually have made it harder to get peace and harder to achieve a deal with Hamas."

President Macron and Prime Minister Starmer should get lectured today after today's debriefing/strategy session. As for achieving a deal with Hamas, that's impossible. Their hatred of all things Jewish is too intense to overcome.

In his op-ed, Dershowitz also wrote "Both US President Donald Trump and his envoy Steve Witkoff have placed the blame squarely at the feet of Hamas for rejecting US proposals to end the current impasse. Why should Hamas make a deal requiring it to make sacrifices in its bargaining position, when it is being promised the “golden ring” – recognition of statehood – for doing nothing?"

If Canada, France and the U.K. insist on recognizing terrorists as a sovereign nation, they should pay a steep economic price for their foolishness. In this speech, PM Starmer sounds like a blithering idiot:

That's stunning. Hamas attacked Israesl. Israel made good-faith offer after good-faith offer, only to have Hamas reject each good faith offer. Despite this, PM Starmer portrays Israel as Hamas'as co-villain? Is this guy Joe Biden's or Tim Walz's long-lost brother? It appears as thoughStarmer is as knuckleheaded as Walz and as out-to-lunch as Biden.
Polls show that Palestinians, both in Gaza and the West Bank, would vote overwhelmingly to be governed by Hamas rather than the Palestinian Authority if free elections were held. This would be even more certain if Hamas were credited with securing a state – something the PA could not accomplish over the many years it has been in power.
Israel entered this territory centuries before Palestine was created. Palestine is a tribe, if that. They aren't a sovereign nation.
