Raymond Lopez criticizes Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson
Raymond Lopez isn't willing to back away from his fight with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. Despite Johnson's political affiliation with the Democrat Party, Lopez, who is also a Democrat, isn't willing to stop criticizing Johnson. Fox News is reporting that multiple aldermen don't think that Mayor Brandon Johnson is listening to his constituents. For instance, Raymond Lopez said "He’s not concerned about African-Americans, he’s not concerned about Latinos, and he’s absolutely not concerned about undocumented Mexicans who will bear the brunt of his actions. He is playing the game of chicken with their lives, and it's disgusting."
Johnson has lost African-Americans in droves even though he's black himself. That's why it'll take divine intervention to save his re-election. Alderman Brian Hopkins told Fox News Digital "Why wouldn't we allow them to be deported, especially if they're guilty of the crimes that they're accused of? He believes that he is such a strong advocate for human rights, no matter what your citizenship status is, that if you're here and you're not a citizen and you're committing heinous crimes, he wants to protect you."
This picture is worth 1,000 words:
If people think that this isn't personal to black neighborhoods, think again: When this many minority voters are unhappy with you, that's trouble in the Windy City for Mayor Johnson. If Mayor Johnson were to lose, that'd be a major victory for Chicago and Illinois.
