Why didn't Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas take homeland security seriously?
According to the WSJ, "officials say they are investigating the rampage as an act of terrorism." Further, "emerging evidence suggests the killer may have been a jihadist radical who had accomplices." Yesterday should've been a day of total lockdowns in New Orleans. Tuesday night was New Year's Eve in one of the most famous gathering places to celebrate the new year. Further, the Sugar Bowl college football playoff game was scheduled for Wednesday evening. Thanks to the alleged terrorist attack, that game has been postponed until Thursday afternoon.
All major sporting events receive major attention from the Department of Homeland Security. The Sugar Bowl should've qualified for that type of security.
This was the steeper price for Secretary Mayorkas' incompetence and corruption. Rather than trying and convicting Mayorkas on his articles of impeachment, Sen. Chuck Schumer dismissed the case without hearing testimony against Secretary Mayorkas. Thanks to Sen. Schumer's actions, Mayorkas was still on the job when the terrorists hit New Orleans:
It's a good thing that the alleged Vegas terrorist picked the vehicle he did:The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.

More ominously, the FBI said it believes Jabbar didn’t act alone. Conflicting reports said four others may have been observed on video planting IEDs elsewhere in the city.If there's a lower grade than F-, that's what Mayorkas deserves. Ditto with Joe Biden."We do not believe that Jabbar was solely responsible," FBI assistant special agent in charge Alethea Duncan said. "The FBI is working to determine the subject’s potential associations and affiliations with terrorist organizations."
