Joe Biden's propaganda tour keeps chugging along

It's obvious that Joe Biden won't relent in his attempt to rewrite his economic history. Checking the White House's Economy page shows the deception deployed by Scranton Joe. According to Biden, he didn't agree with a single Reagan economic policy but he agreed with something that Reagan said. Biden agreed that "facts are stubborn things." Then Biden started deceiving people.

Biden then lied, saying "During my presidency, we created 16,000,000 new jobs." FALSE!

Of those 16,000,000 'new' jobs created more than 12,000,000 were restored jobs. They were jobs restored from the COVID shutdown. Let's compare Biden's 16,000,000 jobs created over 4 years with President Reagan's 20,000,000 jobs created over 8 years or Bill Clinton's 22,000,000 jobs created in 8 years. SPECIAL NOTE: Reagan's job creation total came during a double-dip recession, which certainly decreased his 20,000,000 total. It's important to add that Clinton's 22,000,000 figure came after the Bush 41 recession had ended.

The next Biden deception came when he said this:

That's interesting. When Biden was inaugurated, the inflation rate was 1.4%. Over Trump's 4 years, inflation was 7.9%. That means something costing $100 on Trump's inauguration day cost $107.90 the day of Biden's inauguration. What Biden isn't saying is that the item that cost $107.90 at the start of Biden's administration now costs $132.83. Bidenflation is still increasing. Trump's inflaltion was virtually nonexistent.

Biden also said this:

I'm leaving the next president with an inflation rate that's near 2%.
I quoted E.J. Antoni here as saying "Not only did wholesale inflation for Nov come in red hot, but the last 3 months were also revised higher; headline exploded 0.4% M/M, pushing Y/Y to 3.0% while core (pictured here) jumped to 3.4% Y/Y and continues rising much faster than the pre-Jan '21 average.

FACTS ARE STUBBORN THINGS, MR. BIDEN! A 3% inflation rate is 50% higher than "near 2%." That's before talking about Bidenflation hitting 9.1% in July of 2022. It's eventually made its way down to 3.4% today but the cumulative is still 23.1% over 4 years. The last I looked, 23.1% inflation is almost 3 times as high as 7.9%. FACTS ARE STUBBORN THINGS, MR. BIDEN!

The economy isn't terrible as Inauguration Day approaches but inflation is still taking far too big a bite than it should. The truth is that voters registered their verdict on Nov. 5, 2024. Suffice it to say that voters disagreed with Mr. Biden's statements.
