Minnesota's election system is a laughingstock
These days, Minnesota's election system is often considered a laughingstock, especially when compared with Florida and Georgia. The only states that Minnesota compares favorably with are California and Arizona. If you're comparing Minnesota with Arizona and California, just remember that those 2 states are still counting their ballots for House races. It's been more than a week.
By comparison, Florida, the third biggest state in the U.S. in terms of population, counted 10,865,534 votes by 11:00 PM ET of Election Night without a hitch. Their results were known by the networks before midnight ET.
If a state as big physically and as big population-wise as Florida can finish their counting that efficiently, why can't Minnesota? Does the Minnesota DFL put a priority on election integrity? Based on this year’s results, I’m betting the Minnesota DFL doesn’t put a priority on election integrity.
This is what KARE11 News is reporting:
When WCCO-TV reported on this incident, they omitted the part about Sue Ek's 4-vote lead turning into a 28-vote Wolgamott lead. They showed Wolgamott's 191-vote lead -- sort of. WCCO's report showed Wolgamott with 50.4% of the vote but with 1,005 votes. WCCO's report also showed Ek with 9,814 votes and 49.4% of the vote. Notice the difference in appearance between the 4-vote margin screen shot with Sue Ek in the lead to the alleged screen shot of Wolgamott's 191-vote lead: Notice the different color schemes.UPDATE: WCCO-TV has now 'updated' their screen shot that showed Wolgamott with a) 50.4% of the vote and b) 1,005 votes. WCCO-TV's video has changed to say Wolgamott's vote total at 10,005 and his vote percentage at 50.4%. I spoke with Sue Ek. I was told that she sent a set of screen shots to Esme Murphy. Here's Ek with a 4-vote lead at 11:08 PM on 11/05/24: Wolgamott with a 28-vote lead at 12:58 am on 11/06/24: Finally, Wolgamott with a 28-vote lead at 10:11 am on 11/06/24: At no time did Sue Ek send Es,me Murphy a screen shot of Wolgampott leading by 191 votes. That isn't me saying that the Secretary of State's website doesn't show Wolgamott leading by 191 votes. I'm just questioning where those votes came from and whether those votes are legitimate. As the old saying goes, I only know what I can prove. Right now, I'm suspicious whether those additional 195 votes were manufactured. At this point, I'm waiting to find out where those additional ballots came from.Actualy, it isn't just 195 ballots. That's how many votes the lead changed by. At 11:08 on 11/05/24, the Secretary of State's website shows the HD-14B race having 19,404 votes being cast. The next screen shot shows 19,486 votes being cast, with 9,757 votes for Wolgamott and 9,729 votes for Ek. The final total reported on the Secretary of State's website has Wolgamott with 10,005 votes and Ek with 9,814 for a total of 19,819 votes. That's a difference of 415 votes.
Gaining 305 net votes in 415 ballots is to gain 73.5% of those 415 votes. I just spoke with John Palmer because he has a spreadsbeet of the votes from the various precincts in each county. Dr. Palmer told me that his spreadsheet doesn't have a single precinct where Wolgamott would've made up that many votes and overtaken Sue Ek. Saying that I'm suspicious of these totals is understatement. This doesn't sound like science. It sounds more like science fiction.
