Federal government's disastrous response verifies Harris's, Biden's incompetence

If Leo Hohmann's heartbreaking article doesn't get you to reconsider your vote, it'll make you angry. At minimum, it should piss you off mightily. The article opens by saying "There’s almost no coverage of the extent of the suffering taking place right now in the mountains of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, where the victims of Hurricane Helene are still without power one week after the storm hit and dumped a record amount of rain, and now the food and water is running out."

Food and water are running out because FEMA failed. FEMA failed because the U.S. doesn't have a president or vice president, at least not ones that give a s--t. After Hurricane Helene hit last Thursday, Joe Biden flew to Delaware like he usually does each weekend. Meanwhile, VP Harris flew to Arizona for a 19-minute photo-op before jetting off to California for a weekend of fundraising for her campaign. In neither instance did Biden or Harris publicly express their thoughts about the disaster that Hurricane Helene visited upon Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee.

According to the article, "The federal government has done nothing to help the immediate situation. Literally nothing. Despite what you hear them say in interviews with the corporate media, FEMA has not shown up, as the situation grows more desperate by the day. But there are private individuals and groups who are trying to rescue these desperate Americans."

To get a better picture of what was happening, I'd recommend watching this video of Keeping it Kraemer:

That's what it looks like when the federal government isn't prepared, doesn't pre-stage supplies and equipment and doesn't show leadership. This wouldn't happen if Trump was in charge. When the toxic spill happened in East Palestine, J.D. Vance was there virtually immediately. That's before starting talking about Gov. DeSantis, who has taken hurricane recovery and clean-up to the next level. It's one thing to criticize Biden and Harris. It's another thing to compare them with the best in the business.

Apparently, Biden and Harris don't care about their official responsibilities. They've taken to caring about staying in power (Harris) and getting in as much tanning time before official retirement (Biden). Biden and Harris aren't people of character. Former Rep. J.C. Watts put it best:

At the 1996 Republican National Convention, he said "Character is doing what's right even when nobody's looking. That definitely isn't Biden or Harris.
