The Democrats' dishonesty machine

For months, if not 2-3 years, Republicans have said that Joe Biden wasn't mentally healthy enough to be president. We were called conspiracy theorists, if not worse. Then came the 80th Anniversary Celebration of D-Day, followed by the G-7 Summit in Italy. Those events stopped the Democrats' Joe Biden charade.

At that point, Democrats tried telling us that Joe was fine, that he was sharp as a tack, yada, yada, yada. That didn't last long. It lasted until June 27, to be precise. That's when Joe Biden walked onto the debate stage in Atlanta. That's when Joe put in one of the worst debate performances in history.

That's what panic sounds like. That's where the push to remove Biden started in earnest. Before that, Democrats knew that Biden was cognitively impaired but they chose to hide that impairment. It's impossible to hide Biden's impairment for the entire 90-minute debate.

That debate started the Democrats' campaign to end Biden's presidential debate. It's that simple. That debate triggered Democrats, starting with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, to push Joe off the ticket. At first, it was behind-the-scenes and quiet. For the last week, it was in public and contentious. During the final day, it was downright acrimonious. Where this heads from here with this much bitterness is anyone's guess.

Had Democrats not rigged this nominating contest, they wouldn't be in this position. But they rigged the rules. Now they're stuck with them. That's their problem. This is an excellent question.

Blistering Barack's butt (bigtime)

This past weekend, Barack Obama tried spreading the blame around for Hamas's murderous rampage of Oct. 7. This blistering op-ed hints that Mr. Obama isn't the effective communicator that he once was. Obama initially insisted that "nobody's hands are clean" from the Oct. 7 Massacre. Liel Leibovitz, the Editor at large of Tablet Magazine wrote this op-ed questioning Obama's intellectual honesty. After Obama said that nobody's hands are clean, Mr. Liebovitz wrote wrote "Nah, man. Not all of us are complicit. It's just you. It's you, because you're the one who gave that stentorian speech about red lines in Syria and then sat by and did nothing as those red lines were crossed and Assad continued to slaughter his own people, allowing the Iranians and the Russians to creep in and fill the vacuum left by your devastating lack of leadership." Why is Joe Biden letting Hamas off the hook?

It isn't disputable whether Joe Biden's administration is letting Hamas off the hook. That issue was settled months ago, when a spineless Joe Biden caved to activists interested in saving Hamas and thwarting the Israelis' attempt to defend themselves. Gerard Baker's op-ed highlights what's at stake for the U.S. if the terrorists are permitted to survive. In his op-ed, Baker wrote "If, under the pressure of internal Democratic politics and global public opinion, the Biden administration forces a 'cease-fire' that leaves our closest ally in the region short of victory over an enemy that seeks to destroy it, sooner or later we shall all pay the price."
