Peter Navarro's return

Peter Navarro left federal prison Wednesday morning. By Wednesday night, Navarro was in Milwaukee, WI, delivering a fiery speech at the Republican National Convention. In an interview with the AP, Navarro said "I’m a small part of the bigger issue. If we don’t control the government, the government will control us."

Merrick Garland, Joe Biden's wingman AG, told reporters last month "The idea that politics infects our prosecutions, nothing could be further from the truth. We have one rule. We follow the facts, and we follow the law and we make the appropriate decisions." Garland's mouth says one thing. The courts say the opposite. Jonathan Turley wrote this article. In that article, Turley wrote "Georgia Democrats are challenging efforts to place Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and three other candidates on the state’s presidential ballots. With Biden struggling in the polls and the vast majority of voters viewing him as too enfeebled to serve another four years, Democrats are rushing to reduce the choices for voters." To say that Navarro got a big standing ovation when introduced is understatement:

Let's be clear about this. The J6 'Committee' was and is a sham committee. The bill's language said that the committee had to have members selected from both parties by both party's leaders. After Kevin McCarthy picked Jim Jordan and Jim Banks, then-Speaker Pelosi rejected them. That caused Leader McCarthy to rescind all of his picks. Eventually, Pelosi put pseudo-Republicans Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger on the Committee. The point is that Kinzinger and Cheney weren't picked by Leader McCarthy, which is required by the bill's language. That's why it's called a select committee.

Peter Navarro's return is most welcome. He's intelligent, feisty and the type of player that you love on your team but hate as an opponent. The additional bonus is that he's the inventor of the phrase 'Trump-time' as in 'getting things done in Trump-time.'
