Has Joe Biden already lost Pennsylvania?

Salena Zito frequently writes about life in the Rust Belt and the industrial Upper Midwest. Salena's latest report highlights how out-of-touch he is with Pennsylvania. For instance, Salena wrote "However, there is a lot more unpacking to do with this imagery, beginning with the other 900 unemployed steelworkers not invited to the event who just lost their jobs at the steelmaking tinplate mill 30 miles up the river. These jobs were lost thanks, at least arguably, to a decision from the U.S. International Trade Commission not to tax tin from several countries, including China. So, at the same time Biden was bragging about taxing China’s steel, 900 men and women who loved their jobs, loved working locally, and loved making a decent wage were at a job fair at the local community center."

It's obvious that Biden isn't able to interact fluidly with people. It's indisputable that Biden's handlers are setting him up to fail. They might not know that but that's what's happening. This looks wooden:

Compare that visit with Trump's visit to the Harlem bodega:

People enthusiastically greeted Trump. People looked disinterested when Biden showed up.

The rhythm of campaigns is original and immediately recognizable. The difference beween Trump's campaign and Biden's campaign couldn't be more different.

Trump's campaign is best characterized as vibrant. Biden's campaign might be characterized as "almost lifelike." Finally, there's this:

Biden has forgotten how not to play it safe. He has forgotten the world outside of his bubble of Washington elites, his wife, and his brothers and sister, whose own lives are cloistered from the outside world of average people. His only impulse that remains from his time as a U.S. senator is a tendency to go off script, a lot, and talk about things that are either too far in the past for people to connect with or that have nothing to do with their daily concerns.
There was a time when Joe Biden was decent at retail politicking. That's in his past. These days, it's an adventure just getting him off the stage. Forget about him working a rope-line or interacting with the sparse crowds that show up for his campaign events. Biden doesn't even look that comfortable in a union hall. Finally, Biden is a great reminder that Father Time is still undefeated.
