Joe Scarborough's, Morning Joe's bloodbath

Joe Scarborough's show doesn't get much attention except when he says something outrageous. The thing is that Joe's getting more polished at getting attention by saying outrageous things as he gains experience. This past weekend, Joe gained lots of attention for his intentionally misleading rant about Donald Trump's bloodbath statement. Scarborough got that attention when Elon Musk, aka the world's smartest man, hit Joe where it hurts most -- in public.

Scarborough said that Trump "promised another 'bloodbath' if he loses again." That's when things went south for Scarborough. Elon Musk replied, saying "Jan 6 was not a 'bloodbath' by any definition and Trump was referring to job losses in the auto industry when he used that word. Your post is extremely misleading." Shortly thereafter, Scarborough deleted his bloodbath tweet.

Unfortunately for Scarborough, he just couldn't leave it alone. Come Monday morning, he still hadn’t dropped it. Next, he "questioned the logic of discussing macroeconomics in terms of "bloodbaths" and pointed out the repetition of the phrase "that's going to be the least of it," suggesting broader implications":

Notice what he says next. He said "These idiots on Twitter, these idiots on cable news, these idiots on Sunday shows..." Elon Musk knows a thing or 2 about the auto industry. He just builds the best electric vehicle on the market. It's difficult to call him an idiot. Besides, he's the world's smartest man. I'd say that Mr. Scarborough picked a fight he can't win. Scarborough wasn't the only less-than-average-Joe to jump hard-first into this fight. Joe Biden tweeted "It's clear this guy wants another January 6." It's apparent that Joe Biden can't read that well:

Scarborough's Rant
"I've never really heard people discuss macroeconomics, in terms of bloodbaths. But maybe, maybe so. But let's just say for argument's sake. But then he says, 'and that's going to be the least of it.' You think there's going to be a bloodbath in the auto industry, even if you take that argument at face value, which again, given the tone of the rest of the speech, "bloodbath"? I'm not so sure he's talking about the niceties of international trade there," he said.
He should've done his research:
"Let me tell you something. To China, if you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends, but he understands the way I deal,” he continued. "Those big, monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now, and you think you’re gonna get that, you’re gonna not hire Americans; and you’re gonna sell the cars to us — no. We’re gonna put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line. And you’re not gonna be able to sell those cars."

"If I get elected — now if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. Its gonna be a bloodbath for the country, that’ll be the least of it. But they’re not gonna sell those cars, they’re building massive factories."

How you get Jan. 6 out of that rant is beyond comprehension. Think about it. Trump mentioned President Xi, the "monster car manufacturing plants" China is building in Mexico and 100% tariffs on Chinese-imported cars from Mexico. What else did Trump talk about?

While Scarborough was the only idiot (pun intended) to criticize We The People, he wasn't the only one to criticize Trump. The MSM should be nicknamed Conformist Central. Original thought is scorned within the MSM.
