Joe Biden's criticism of racism rings hollow
Let's shift to today's Joe Biden. This week, Biden said "I've been a senator since '72. I've served with real racists. I've served with Strom Thurmond. I've served with all these guys that have set terrible records on race. But guess what? These guys are worse. These guys do not believe in basic democratic principles."
Joe Biden eulogized Sen. Byrd, the late former Exalted Cyclops of the KKK, at Sen. Byrd's funeral in 2010. Biden is most famous for chairing Clarence Thomas' confirmation hearings to the U.S. Supreme Court. Those hearings are famous but not in a good way. They're famous for this moment:
In light of that infamous moment from October 11, 1991, Joe Biden doesn't have a bit of standing to talk about racism. This interview explains why Joe Biden isn't credible on the topic of race: BIDEN:"I believed Anita Hill. I voted against Clarence Thomas. When she decided to come forward, what I feel badly about is the inability to silence the Republican critics on the Committee." Biden then said that people wanted him to gavel down the people "who were harassing her."Anita Hill testified that she kept changing jobs whenever Justice Thomas changed jobs. Why would a woman who's being harassed follow her harasser from agency to agency?
Think that Biden isn't a racist? Watch this, then let's talk:
Biden is a blowhard who can't be trusted. He's always been known as a candidate who talks a better game than he delivers. He's talked like he's a civil rights guy. What a bunch of BS.
