Is Fani Willis the new Stacey Abrams?

Back in the 1950s and 60s, Atlanta was a cesspool filled with racists. After significant improvements in the 1980s and 90s, it's slowly degenerated into another immoral cesspool, thanks in large part to the rise of Marxists like Fani Willis and Stacey Abrams.

Today, Willis took the witness stand to testify. Some might say that she took the witness stand and held it hostage. CBS is reporting that Willis didn't initially want to testify but eventually testified. That's a major mistake, IMO. She came across as upset as Joe Biden at his ill-advised press conference last Thursday. She's quoted as saying "You've been intrusive into people's personal lives. You're confused. You think I'm on trial. These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020. I'm not on trial, no matter how hard you try to put me on trial. I object to you getting any personal records of mine."

She's definitely getting judged for her extramarital affair with Nathan Wade. To that, she said "That I kept something private that's my private life is not any mystery to anyone. It's like a woman doesn't have the right to keep her private life private."

When you get into public life and you start chasing high-profile prosecutions, expect the other side to start hitting back. The flimsier the case, the more oppo research you should expect. What came across clearly is that Ms. Willis is exceptionally thin-skinned. Here's proof:

It's also possible that she knows that her legal career is over and she's auditioning for MSNBC. Frankly, after today's performance, I'd argue that Fani Willis is more cerebral and more volatile than Stacey Abrams. There's no disputing that Ms. Willis has a nasty attitude. Frankly, I was surprised the judge didn't instruct her to keep her answers to the questions asked.
Willis confirmed while on the stand that she took a cruise with Wade and his mother in October 2022 and then gifted him the Belize trip for his 50th birthday. The couple also took a cruise together to the Bahamas on New Year's Eve in 2022, Willis disclosed, and she recalled taking day trips to visit her sister in South Carolina and to Charlotte.

"I don't consider him having taken me anyplace," she said, adding that she reimbursed Wade based on the amount he relayed to her. She testified that she paid him in cash on three or four occasions and that she keeps cash in her home.

Asked whether there's any written record or ledger of the money she gave Wade, Willis said no.

I can't believe Trump's lawyer didn't jump all over that statement. That isn't proof. That's just uncorroborated testimony. We're expected to take as Gospel fact that she's an honorable person who hasn't lied in her life? I don't think so.
