Tom Emmer calls for Ilhan Omar to "resign in disgrace"
Rep. Emmer is quoted in the article as saying "Ilhan Omar’s appalling, Somalia-first comments are a slap in the face to the Minnesotans she was elected to serve and a direct violation of her oath of office. She should resign in disgrace." This shouldn't be taken lightly. When he first joined Congress, Emmer joined with then-Rep. Keith Ellison to start the Somalia Caucus. Emmer's decision wasn't greeted with applause in his district. FULL DISCLOSURE: Emmer represents my district. The point is that Rep Emmer isn’t an Islamophobe, not anything close in fact.

Of course, she's going to deny the truth. I'll say this about Omar. She has lots of defenders in the media. Check this out: Make sure you read Bill's well-researched article for CAE.
