Donald Trump, Joe Biden unite the GOP

When Donald Trump clinches the GOP presidential nomination, his first priority must be to unite the GOP. He's off to a strong start on that project. For instance, when Gov. DeSantis dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump, Trump issued a gracious statement. In that statement, Trump said "With only a few days left until President Donald J. Trump’s victory in New Hampshire, we are honored by the endorsement from Governor Ron DeSantis and so many other former presidential candidates."

Trump didn't finish there. Additionally, he said "He ran a really good campaign. I will tell you it's not easy. But as you know, he left the campaign trail today, at 3 p.m., and in so doing he was very gracious and he endorsed me. I appreciate that. And I also look forward with Ron and everybody else to defeat Crooked Joe Biden."

That isn’t the only thing he’s done to unite the GOP. Last night, Trump rallied with Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum in Laconia, NH. Donald Trump has a partner in uniting the GOP. His name is Joe Biden. In 2020, Trump energized Democrats. This time, in 2024, Biden is returning the favor with Republicans. By listening to the Far-Left of the Democrats, then implementing the Far-Left's agenda on climate change and with their open borders agenda, Biden united the GOP by turning from being a loud-mouthed VP to being a Far-Left ideologue.

Throw in Biden's habit of mistreating vital U.S. allies like Israel and cozying up to the world's worst regimes (think Iran and China) and you have lots of people wishing for the calm of the Trump administration.

Throw in Alejandro Mayorkas telling the press that the border is secure and you've got a portrait of incompetence for the ages:

Then throw in Jennifer Granholm's laughing off the question about energy production:

Notice that she wasn't asked how she planned on bringing down prices. She was asked how she'd increase U.S. oil production.

These are just a couple of snapshots of the Biden administration showing off their incompetence and their ideological bent. What percentage of Americans yearn for the days of affordable home heating bills? What percentage of Americans yearn for the days when they could pay off their monthly bills and still have money left to take the family out to dinner? What percentage of people thirst for the days when the border was shut? I won't affix numerical value to these questions. I'll just say that the percentages on each of those questions would be high.

In 2020, Trump was the Democrats' great uniter/motivator. Apparently, Biden is the GOP's great uniter/motivator. That proves that irony is quite ironic from time-to-time.
