Why is Joe Biden sabotaging Benjamin Netanyahu?

It isn't surprising that a liberal Democrat president (Joe Biden) doesn't like a conservative Israeli prime minister (Benjamin Netanyahu). That's to be expected. What's unexpected is this Axios report that's filled with more leaks than Adam Schiff's office. Axios is reporting that "President Biden held a difficult conversation last weekend with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel's decision to withhold part of the tax revenue it collects for the Palestinian Authority, according to two U.S. and Israeli officials and a source with knowledge of the issue."

The article continues with another leak, saying "According to the U.S. and Israeli officials, Biden told Netanyahu that he should face the hardliners in his coalition on this issue like he is dealing with political pressure from Congress about the war in Gaza. After a few minutes of discussion, Biden told Netanyahu he expects him to solve this issue, added that "this conversation is over" and ended the call, the U.S. official and source with knowledge of the call said."

Apparently, Biden is pushing Netanyahu into a more passive Palestinian policy. This isn't a way to defeat Hamas or the Palestinian hardliners. It's a purely political move for Biden. He'll tell the pro-Israel people he's playing nice with Netanyahu while he's telling Rashida Tlaib he's trying to help the Palestinians. This is ABC News's report for GMA:

Joe Biden isn't a pro-Israel president. He's a pro-Palestinian president. He's also the least pro-Israel Democrat in the White House in history. During his time in the executive branch, Biden's Democrats have decided that they should negotiate with Iran and that Israel should be bullied. That's destabilized Israel and the Middle East while emboldening Iran and their proxies. What part of that sounds intelligent?

Finally, the signal this sends to the civilized world is that the Biden administration thinks that dictators are trustworthy and democracies aren't U.S. friends. That's the definition of stupidity.

Apparently, Kamala Harris suddenly loves debating. Let me rephrase that. Harris loves debating as long as the moderators are partisan hacks. She wants nothing to do with a debate moderated by Fox's Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. Why is Joe Biden letting Hamas off the hook?

It isn't disputable whether Joe Biden's administration is letting Hamas off the hook. That issue was settled months ago, when a spineless Joe Biden caved to activists interested in saving Hamas and thwarting the Israelis' attempt to defend themselves. Gerard Baker's op-ed highlights what's at stake for the U.S. if the terrorists are permitted to survive.
