Joe Biden's Wide World of Crises

It doesn't matter where you throw a dart at a global map these days. Wherever the dart hits, you're likely to hit a place where Joe Biden's policies have caused a crisis. To sarcastically use a phrase I just saw on Twitter, "Thank God the adults are back in charge." People thinking that the failed Afghanistan withdrawal was the first sign of Biden administration incompetence are only half right. Early in the administration, it became clear that the administration's policies would be based on appeasement.

The first proof came when China criticized SecState Blinken for their human rights record. China's proof? BLM's statements. Instead of raising the issue of the Uygur Muslims, Hong Kong or Taiwan, Blinken just took the criticism. This wasn't a worldwide disgrace but it was proof that Biden would quickly turn U.S.  foreign policy into a disaster.

Next, of course, was the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster. This officially became a disaster when 13 U.S. servicemen and women were killed in a terrorist attack at the Kabul International Airport. That was compounded when Biden kept looking at his watch at the Dignified Transfer in Dover.

Next was Biden's "minor incursion" statement during a press conference when he was asked about what was then a potential invasion by Russia into Ukraine:

President Biden faced a furor Thursday, including a highly unusual rebuke from Ukraine’s president and sharp criticism from Republican members of Congress, after appearing to downplay a hypothetical "minor incursion" by Russia into its neighbor’s territory.
A month later, Russia invaded Ukraine. While this statement wasn't the determining factor, it reminded Putin that Biden was soft as Jello:

The ongoing border crisis, which is intentionall, is another problem that the Administration refuses to fix. This has caused a significant uptick in violent crime and fentanyl poisonings.

Finally, there's the U.S.'s softness after Hamas's October 7 Massacre in Israel. The initial statements from this administration were fairly strong but that's since disappeared. Thanks to the Biden administration's attitude of appeasement, the Houthis are now attempting to block the major shipping lanes of the Red Sea and the Straits of Hormuz.

If you're looking for worldwide disasters, the Biden administration is the right administration. Biden isn't a mature statesman. He's a senile old man who is making life difficult for the U.S.
