Elk River education establishment fights back

When David fought Goliath in the Valley of Elath, David had God on his side and 5 smooth stones. Now that Minnesota's education establishment has let Mindy Freiberg and John Anderson know that they're planning on making their lives miserable, their ace-in-the-hole is Rep. Walter Hudson, who represents HD-30A in Minnesota's legislature. As the old cliche goes, the proof is in this article, which was written by Sheilla Qualls.

I'm not saying that Rep. Hudson is God's equivalent. He isn't. That isn't to say that Rep. Hudson isn't someone I wouldn't want on my side. FULL DISCLOSURE: I've known Rep. Hudson since the TEA Party started and consider him a friend. Let's jump into Mrs. Qualls' article.

A significant portion of the school board meeting dealt with this censure resolution against "pro-parent" Directors Freiberg and Anderson. Specifically, it cited "Board Policy 209", which said that Rep. Anderson wasn't "prepared for Board meetings and impeded the work of the Board." The same charge was levied against Director Freiberg. Make sure to read the entire resolution. It's 2 pages. Next, let's get into Rep. Hudson's running commentary, provided via X, formerly Twitter. Check this out:

According to the resolution, Director Freiberg violated "the Board's communications protocols by directly contacting District staff directly and not working through the Superintendent." OMMIGOD! Director Freiberg had the audacity of talking directly with paid district staff rather than contacting the Superintendent, who likely would've provided her with the view from 30,000 feet rather than giving her a view from ground level. Doesn't Director Freiberg know that she works for the Superintendent, not the people who elected her? Then there's this unforced fiasco: When the audience applauds Director Anderson's rebuttal of the Board's resolution, the Chair goes nuclear, including the implied threat of throwing the entire audience out. The dictatorial tone to the meeting was unmistakable. The chair's attitude was similar to the attorney's attitude. The public, otherwise known as citizens, aka constituents, were to behave. The rulings of the Chair were final and absolute.

Further, the Chair let it be known that Board worked for the Superintendent, not the citizens. It's apparent that the education establishment thinks of themselves as rulers and the people as subjects, not citizens.

What's required is the defeat of the Marxist autocrats on this board ASAP. That require the community coming together and picking a slate of candidates, then supporting them. Explain to the citizens how they're being told what's acceptable or unacceptable. Check this out from the censure resolution:

Additionally, in an email, Director Anderson referred to an activity in a Minneapolis elementary school as a "drag queen performance." The Board finds this comment to be discriminatory, unprofessional and inappropriate for holding public office.
That's outside the Board's jurisdiction. Further, I'm betting that the citizens in Elk River would've overwhelmingly agreed with Director Anderson. I can't imagine many moms wanting their grade school children seeing drag show performances. This video is of a school board meeting in Idaho but the attitude of the Board Chair is identical:

That's what a dictator acts like.
