Hamas breaks cease-fire agreement, then reconsiders
Shortly after hearing Israel's threat, Hamas all-but-admitted that the IDF frightens Hamas. In the threat tweet, Israel's threat said "Israel sends a message to Hamas: If the second group of hostages are not released by midnight (Israel time), the ground operation in Gaza will resume." Within an hour, Hamas announced that the swap was back on. The key to getting the hostage-for-terrorist swap back on schedule was Israel’s credible threat of lethal military force against Hamas. Without that credible threat and the IDF’s opening assault against Hamas, the hostages would still be in Gaza. ABC News is reporting that the hostages have arrived in Israel:
Here's the tweet:If Hamas hadn't backed down, Israel should've moved quickly in decimating Hamas. They don't deserve the benefit of any doubt. Check this out as proof that Hamas doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt:Israel sends a message to Hamas: If the second group of hostages are not released by midnight (Israel time), the ground operation in Gaza will resume.

Bonchie wrote this to highlight just how sick Hamas is:Nothing like forcing children to hold your hand after you held them captive for nearly 50 days and slaughtered their neighbors and/or family.

What kind of sick freaks kidnap children and then make them perform for the cameras as they are finally being released? Keep in mind that some of those released learned only after getting back to Israel that Hamas had murdered their parents or other members of their families. The psychological warfare being waged, even in being forced to send some hostages home, is disgusting and disturbing. The Israelis paused their offensive operations because they put a high priority on getting their hostages out. Hamas agreed to the swap because, militarily, they were getting annihilated. That's what that video and everything else Hamas has done is all about. They want to project dominance over those they took hostage, but they also want to provide their online army with fodder. That's what the "keep waving" part of the video is all about. Videos of smiling hostages give the pro-Hamas lunatics "evidence" to claim that they were actually happy while in captivity, and that the terrorists who kidnapped them are really just humane victims of Israeli aggression. It's total garbage, but if you haven't been paying attention to what's being spread online, you'd be shocked.
