Ron DeSantis, the anti-Biden

The media is gushing over Nikki Haley as the newest chief rival to Donald Trump. I'm not buying that BS any more than I think that Rashida Tlaib is open-minded towards Israel. Within minutes of a bomb hitting a hospital in Gaza, Tlaib posted this tweet, which said "Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that." Tlaib posted that literally minutes after the news broke. How could she know who fired off the bomb? But I digress.

The subject that I want to hit in this post is how different Joe Biden is from Gov. Ron DeSantis. To use Joe Concha's line, "Joe Biden works 24/7 for the American people; 24 hours a week, 7 months a year." By contrast, Gov. DeSantis issued an executive order directing the Florida Department of Emergency Management to rescue Floridians from Israel and return them to Florida. He campaigned in New Hampshire and Iowa, too. Then he returned to Tampa to greet returning Floridians at the airport.

There was a crisis so Gov. DeSantis jumped into the action and fixed it. No fanfare, no 'Gee, aren't I great?' press conferences, just old-fashioned hard work, followed by rock-solid solutions. Finish the task, move onto the next thing that needs fixing mindset. This is Gov. DeSantis' approach to fixing problems:

The Manic Contrarian wrote this article to highlight Gov. DeSantis's problem-fixing abilities:
The man thrives in a crisis, whether it's a Cat-5 Hurricane, his nearly flawless response to COVID-19, or now today, with Israel defending itself against a vicious terrorist cartel. The candidate, on both sides of the partisan divide, who is being called upon by the media to weigh in on the Israeli crisis, and who has done so with clarity, is Ron DeSantis. And he has also done so intelligently. There's no substitute for brains.

This latest Middle East crisis has, in this writer's opinion, elevated DeSantis to the point of being head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. He has used his machine-like skills for logistics and rapid response to remind the country why an effective chief executive is so important.

His Manicness finishes it off with this tweet: Trump has the larger-than-life personality. Nikki Haley has the required moderation. (That isn't a compliment.) Gov. DeSantis isn't electric in a crowd but if you need a problem fixed, and the U.S. needs lots of Biden-created problems fixed, turn Gov. DeSantis loose on them. He's the best in the business at fixing Biden-created problems. Just ask the people getting off planes Sunday night at Tampa International Airport.

Joe Biden breaks things, then insists that Trump broke it. Think Southern border. Joe Biden's policies have caused tons of pain, which Biden blamed on Putin. Think of the Putin Price Hike.

The side-by-side isn't flattering

Biden halfheartedly attempts to evacuate Americans trapped in Israel. Then the evacuees are told they have to pay the government for the flight. Gov. DeSantis chartered flights and got Floridians home within 3 days. Then he told these evacuees 'it's on me. Have a happy, safe life.' Like I said, it isn't a flattering comparison for Biden.
