Joe Biden's Viktor Shokin problem
Without the Big Guy, aka the Brand, aka Joe Biden, Hunter Biden wouldn't have been worth a lucrative contract with Burisma. Miranda Devine is doing her best to highlight Joe Biden's complicity in the Hunter investigation. She's the ace reporter that wrote the best-selling book Laptop From Hell. She's also the investigative reporter who broke the article that 51 so-called security experts "had all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation operation." Now she's written this:
The European Commission praised Ukraine’s Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin for his efforts to fight corruption in a December 2015 progress report published nine days after then-VP Joe Biden demanded his ouster. The report flies in the face of Biden’s claims that the European Union joined his demands that Shokin be removed for being corrupt and obstructing anti-corruption reforms.John Solomon has written several articles exposing Biden's lies, too. He's the reporter that found the State Department memo that said Biden's getting rid of Shokin went against Obama administration policy. Getting Shokin fired led to this infamous video: Now, Shokin is speaking out in U.S. interviews. His story will get out. It's just a matter of when will it happen. Finally, there's this:In fact, the Dec. 18, 2015, progress report, obtained by the New York Post, says that the European Union was satisfied that Ukraine had achieved "noteworthy" progress, including in "preventing and fighting corruption," and thus was eligible for visa-free travel in Europe.
At the time he was removed, Shokin was investigating the corrupt energy company Burisma that was paying Biden’s son Hunter $1 million a year to sit on its board. Shokin’s office issued a warrant to seize all of Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky’s properties in Kyiv on Feb. 2, 2016.The MSM has known for 2-3 years that Burisma was about Joe, not Hunter, Biden. It doesn't require Albert Einstein or Sherlock Holmes to figure out that Hunter Biden wasn't worth a $1,000,000/year salary while he was a crack addict. This was always about the Big Guy's position inside the Obama administration. This was always about Joe Biden's ability to intimidate governments into doing things that protected Hunter.Hunter’s former business partner Devon Archer testified last month to the House Oversight Committee that Burisma added Hunter to its board so that "people would be intimidated to mess with them … legally."
After some depositions, some Biden defenders were asked what Joe Biden's grandchildren did to earn money from Burisma. We're still waiting for that answer. I'm betting that we won't hear much on that front. We're probably better off paying attention to John Solomon's reporting:
