Schiff's censure certainly shows Schiff's shadiness, shiftiness

Today's censure vote against Rep. Adam Schiff, the Democrat who said he had "more than circumstantial proof" that Trump had colluded with Russians, will finally get censured by the House of Representatives today. Last week, he avoided censure because Rep. Anna Paula Luna, (R-FL), included a whereas clause in her resolution that would've called for fining Rep. Schiff, (D-CA), $16,000,000 if the House Ethics Committee found "Schiff 'lied, made misrepresentations, and abused sensitive information.'" This time, the glide path to Schiff's censure is smooth and certain.

Rep. Luna "made a number of changes to the resolution from last week to this week, and she said she now has enough votes for the measure to be approved." Further, Rep. Luna said "I have spoken to many of my colleagues. A majority of the 20 will be changing their vote to support the motion, as well as other Members who were not in town for the initial vote have let me/my office know they will be voting with us."

As for Rep. Shifty Schiff, he said he'd wear the censure as a "badge of honor." Further, Schiff said "But to waste the floor’s time on this false and defamatory resolution is a disservice to the country. It detracts from the time that we have to deal with homelessness and we have to deal with the opioid crisis and 100 other challenges, but it just shows how Kevin McCarthy’s completely lost control of the crazies in his conference who are running the place."

That's right, Shifty Schiff. Who cares if everything that comes out of your mouth is BS? It isn't like you're respected of something. After Schiff said this, everyone knew he was full of Schiff:

Then there's this bull Schiff:

This is what Schiff read into the Congressional Record as the transcript of then-President Trump's July 25th phone call with Ukrainian President Zelenskiy:

That doesn't sound anything like the transcript. That isn't surprising, considering it's Schiff we're talking about.

The Deal Is Sealed

Adam Schiff is officially censured. Adam Schiff officially has become the 25th member of the House to get censured. In a statement before the vbote, Rep. Ana Paula Luna said "To be clear, this is not retribution. It is well within my right as a Congresswoman to file a privileged motion and hold Adam Schiff accountable for abusing and exploiting his official position and bringing dishonor to the House of Representatives."

Schiff's censure was the result of him lying about Trump-Russia collusion. In his now-infamous interview with Chuck Todd, Schiff said that he had seen proof that was "more than circumstantial" that proved Trump's guilt. When the Mueller Report was published, the Report concluded that there was no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia to win the election. There was, however, proof that Russians interfering with the presidential election but only on a microscopic scale. Less than $50,000 total was spent on online advertisin. That's smaller than a pittance.

It'd be perfect if Schiff lost his election to run for Dianne Feinstein's Senate seat. Getting rid of him would put a smile on lots of people's faces.
