Is Hunter Biden's plea deal in danger? John Ratcliffe thinks it might be
Ratcliffe continued, saying "But even if you get past all that, Trey, the judge is going to be aware of all that, uh, is going to be aware of whistleblower testimony that the very prosecutors in this case, according to the whistleblowers, did more than exercise more than prosecutorial discretion. They obstructed parts of this investigation, including shutting down an investigation into a WhatsApp text message text message that shows that the vice president's son and possibly the vice president, threatened a Chinese businessman with ties to the Chinese Communist Party and received a $5,000,000 payment 2 days later. So based on all that, I'd be surprised if, on all that, I'd be disappointed if a judge would accept a plea in this case."
It's important to remember that Ratcliffe isn't just the former DNI but a former federal prosecutor, too. Ratcliffe isn't some wet-behind-the-ears prosecutor, either. He had a pretty sterling record, too. Check out the entire interview here:
It's time for Hunter's life to experience some turbulence. The median sentence length for a felony gun charge is 3.69 years. Hunter's gift of a plea deal contains no jail time. Merrick Garland said that Hunter wasn't treated any different than anyone else. That's a bald-faced lie. The only reason it isn't perjury is because he said it at a press conference microphone, not in a hearing room while under oath.@LFRGary https://t.co/OK96yfLuej
