Joe Biden announces presidential re-election bid

Now that he's announced that he's running for re-election, the question before the American people is whether they want an authoritarian tyrant president who works 24/7 (24 hours a week for 7 months out of the year Joe Concha coined that phrase) or whether they'd prefer a president that's honest, hard-working and fights for his people.

Joe Biden's first (and hopefully only term) is marked by his authoritarian handling of everything from gas stoves to EVs to telling us which light bulbs we can use. He fired people who had natural immunity from COVID because they refused to get vaccinated, whether they were firefighters, police officers, FBI agents, teachers or nurses. Does that sound like a president who's fighting for "the soul of America" or a tyrant who isn't interested in hearing from the American people?

According to this WSJ article, "In the video, Mr. Biden frames the election as a question of 'whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom, more rights or fewer. I know what I want the answer to be and I think you do, too. This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for re-election.' He cites abortion access, same-sex marriage and voting rights as examples of freedoms under threat."

What a windbag. The abortion issue is settled in most states, which is where it must be settled, according to the U.S. Supreme Court. Voting rights aren't under attack. Illegal voting is getting attacked by the GA legislature. Despite Stacey Abrams' and Joe Biden's attempts to characterize the new law as Jim Crow 2.0, the reality is that almost 4,000,000 votes were cast in the gubernatorial race in 2022. That's compared to 2018, when the same 2 major party candidates faced each other. In 2018, 3,500,000 votes were cast. That' an increase of 500,000 votes in 2022 over 2018. If that's what people call voter suppression, give me more of it. Here's the old windbag spouting lies about Republicans attempting to suppress the vote:

In this video, Tired old Joe said that "freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans":

He's right that that's in our national DNA. Biden, however, hasn't been committed to liberty. Telling people they have to get rid of their internal combustion engine vehicle isn't fighting for liberty. Telling people that they'll have to get rid of their gas stoves certainly isn't letting the people decide what they'd prefer to use. Attempting to get rid of fossil fuels, which is cheaper, more plentiful, more reliable and available in great abundance here in the U.S.A. is important to our national security. Putin attacked Ukraine after oil prices started climbing, giving him the cash to fund his war.

It's worth highlighting the fact that Biden's policies produced $5/gallon gas (the highest price in history) 10% inflation, the highest inflation since Jimmy Carter in the 1970s. The other thing that Republicans should do is harp constantly on how abundant fossil fuels are essential to prosperity. They fit together like hands and gloves fit together. Finally, Biden said that there's nothing we can't do if we do it together. That's atonishing considering the fact that he started the announcement video with scenes from January 6,2021 and him blistering "MAGA Republicans" as extremists.

The Divider-in-Chief strikes again. It's time Republicans returned to Nancy Reagan's advice of "Just say no." Just say no to 4 more years of Joe Biden.

PS- Remember Biden saying that the teachers unions wouldn't just have a friend in the White House but that they'd have a member (Jill) in the White House. Look what that did with this woman:
