Joe Biden's administration has utterly failed East Palestine, OH

J.D. Vance isn't an absentee politician. He isn't shying away from providing leadership during a crisis. At a time when the Biden administration can't be found, except on Twitter, J.D. Vance is on the ground in East Palestine, OH and testing the water. (Apparently, that's something that the EPA isn't willing to do.)

In fact, J.D. Vance has issued a challenge to EPA Administrator Michael Regan to drink the water from the streams near the derailment site. That's a challenge Regan isn't likely to accept. Sen. Vance's challenge is serious. If the EPA has given the all-clear, which it did on their updates page, then EPA Administrator Regan should be willing to drink the water.

On their Palestine updates page, the EPA said "As of the evening of Feb. 15, EPA has completed screening 486 homes, with 14 scheduled for today. Test results from the village’s municipal well sampling showed no water quality concerns. Governor DeWine issued a press release stating the municipal water is safe to consume." Just watch the video short at the top of the page and tell me whether you think that water looks safe.

This sounds like good advice:

Check out Sen. Vance's 'investigation': This is what leadership looks like:
"My guidance to people is to continue to drink the bottled water. We don’t know," Vance said. "Look, people say that the air is clean. I would like to believe that that’s true. I also have been here for all of three hours, and it doesn’t smell great to me. Especially, when we first arrived. This morning I was immediately struck by the smell of the air. Thankfully, the air problem is a much shorter-term problem than the water problem."

"That is on the CDC. That is the government agency that really needs to focus on that," he added. "I talked to some folks in the state administration today who said they think the CDC is on top of this issue, but we need to stay on top of them because my office still hasn’t gotten a good answer on what thresholds are safe."

Ohio voters made the right choice this past November when they picked Vance over career politician Tim Ryan. Speaking of career politicians, Joe Biden has been thoroughly silent since the derailment. That happened on Feb. 3, 2023. Biden's State of the Union address was on Feb. 8, 2023. In that speech, Biden spoke about "the forgotten men." Not once did Biden mention the derailment or the shooting down of the China spy balloon.

How do you not talk about 2 catastrophic events like that in a speech seen by tens of millions of people? That's unforgivable. It's like the Biden administration is either hiding these incidents or they don't care about doing the right thing. What type of monster does that to hard-working people?
