Donald Trump visits East Palestine

While Joe Biden visited Ukraine and Poland and Pete Buttigieg took some personal time, Donald Trump took a trip to East Palestine, OH, to support the people who haven't gotten a bit of support from the Biden administration. When East Palestine needed the Biden administration's help, Joe Biden wasn't in the United States. He didn't even instruct his Transportation Secretary or EPA Administrator to visit East Palestine and find out more about the derailment of the Norfolk Southern train that carried toxic chemicals.

Characteristically, Trump met with first responders on the ground dealing with the disaster. Whatever one thinks of Donald Trump, and Lord knows that I'm not always a fan, it's impossible to be fair and not be impressed with Trump's problem-solving abilities. First, he meets with the on-the-ground experts, then he supports the first responders while gathering information from them. In this instance, Trump gathered his information while paying for first responders' meals at the local McDonalds.

Compare that with the Biden administration's lack of fire in fixing East Palestine. First, the Administration didn't even show up until after Biden's SOTU Address. Next, high-ranking Biden administration officials were nowhere to help offer assistance. Trump addressed that while speaking to community leaders:

Trump wondered why FEMA was hesitant to commit to East Palestine, but had a reason why FEMA has since decided to help. "When I announced that I was coming, they changed their tune. It was an amazing phenomenon," Trump said. Initially, FEMA was not called in for support. Over the weekend, members of the agency arrived.
It isn't difficult to figure out that FEMA reacted to the political situation. It's obvious that they didn't rush to East Palestine to start the clean-up process. Had that been the Biden administration's highest priority, they would've arrived in East Palestine 2 weeks earlier.

After Minnesota's Democrats shoved the most controversial progressive legislation down Minnesotans' throats, gossip started popping up about Gov. Walz being interested in running for president . Yesterday, Maria Bartiromo interrogated Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday Morning Futures. The first half of the interview, Bartiromo asked policy questions. Gov. DeSantis showed his understanding of the issues and presented his solutions on everything from China, inflation and growing the economy. The first reply he had was to cut spending.
