Joe Biden's "timid, cautious approach to [the Ukraine] war"

Let's be clear about something concerning Russia's invasion of Ukraine. If we had a real commander-in-chief instead of Joe Biden, this fight would've been over 6 months ago. It's been obvious since the opening weeks of this war that Russia's troops were overmatched against Ukraine's troops.

On the second or third night of the war, Jennifer Griffin attended a briefing at the Pentagon. During that briefing, the general conducting the briefing said that they were surprised at how inefficient Russian troops were at night fighting. They had the same problems 31 years earlier in Iraq. In 31 years, Russia still hadn't fixed their night-fighting problem.

Gen. Mike Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, predicted that Kyiv would fall within the first week of the war. It still hasn't fallen after 11 months of fighting. Sen. Tom Cotton sits on the Senate Committee on Armed Services and the Senate Committee on Intelligence. He's written this great op-ed on Biden's mishandling of the war in Ukraine. Here's a key paragraph from the article:

The administration’s decision follows months of foot-dragging and hand wringing. Those who opposed sending tanks to Ukraine made two seemingly contradictory arguments: that American tanks are a dangerous provocation that could lead us into war, but also that they are unsuited to fight in Ukraine. So, which is it? Is the Abrams too powerful, or not powerful enough?
This is typical Biden hand-ringing. Sen. Cotton addressed that in this paragraph:
The Biden administration has finally relented and will send 31 American-made Abrams tanks to Ukraine. This decision is welcome, but it comes too late to help the Ukrainians as they prepare for a renewed Russian onslaught this spring. It illustrates, once again, how President Joe Biden’s half measures have made the war in Ukraine longer and bloodier than it should have been.
Russia isn't a superpower. They have nuclear weapons, which means we can't underestimate them. Their military, though, is quite ordinary, if not lackluster. A poorly equipped Ukraine military has held them at bay for months. This winter, Ukraine's military has launched a successful counteroffensive that's helped Ukraine claw back significant portions of Russia's initial military gains. Had Biden not dawdled, this war might've been won and Ukraine might've been restored to its original borders. Sen. Cotton explains his perspective in this interview:

This is what a timid president says:
