Homeland Security propaganda

Apparently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) thinks that there's an opening on the internet for another iteration of the Babylon Bee. It's apparent based on their statement on the Supreme Court's ruling on Title 42. Listening to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas's intentionally dishonest statements is bad enough. It's quite another when we're fed that same BS in their official statements.

The money paragraph from their statement is "People should not listen to the lies of smugglers who take advantage of vulnerable migrants, putting lives at risk. The border is not open, and we will continue to fully enforce our immigration laws." The next time that this administration's DHS consistently enforces this nation's immigration laws will be the first time that happens.

Bill Melugin reports that "This comes as October and November just saw the highest migrant encounters ever recorded for an Oct/Nov & November saw at least 73,000 known gotaways in a single month."

Here's Melugin's tweet on the subject: It's important to watch this video of Bill Melugin as he explains the difference between Title 8 of the U.S. Code and Title 42 of the U.S. Code:

Other than the agents tasked with enforcing this nation's laws, Bill Melugin knows the law as well as anyone. That interview is proof of that.

The thought that 73,000 gotaways entered the U.S. in November is frightening. At that pace, almost 900,000 people, mostly criminals, will escape apprehension by CBP. They will have been detected. They just will have escaped apprehension. That statistic alone mocks the DHS statement that DHS "will continue to fully enforce our immigration laws."
